i oso feel tat maltese is cute..it is in my opinion tat maltese is easier to takecare lo..smaller size..compare with shih tzu, maltese hardly ll get smelly..n the fur oso easier to maintain..they eat fewer than shih tzu, since they jz below 3 kg..sumore 'shit' oso fewer..hehe...
however, the only thg is tat maltese's tear stain..but u can refer to white palace,he gt a lot of experience bout maltese..apply cornstrach realy can help...my melody's tear stain prob realy improve a lot...she is on heat now..plan to mate her with a boy soon..hehe...

Yes, cornstarch for cooking, the tear stain occurs due to they tears & the wet condition attracts germs, that is one of the reason.

Hence, applying cornstarch means drying up that area, applying on the tear stain area & use a comb to comb it, becareful not to let the cornstarch get into the eyes although that wont be a big deal, but we must be careful not to let any foreign items get into the dog's eyes.

Beside using cornstarch, we should let our maltese drink filtered water, & try to try few brands of food to see which brand actually will reduce the tear stains.

wow, so cute lah the maltese......actually toy dogs like maltese, shih tzu, chiwawa, pinchester are suitable for indoor pets rite?
will maltese make lots of noise? coz it would be a problem for those staying in condo (since curi-curi keep the dog)

And for those who need to work, how actually can they keep dogs like maltese?Mind to share?

maltese very kuai n manja de..my whole family member oso sayang her a lot..tiny tiny, around 2-3kg only.eat less shit less..hehe
if u no time to take care of her fur..u can jz cut short the fur, then shud b ok d..cz maltese is single coat..compare wif shih tzu which is double coat, shih tzu drop hair lotz..

Yo bro,

Sorry, my hp is lousy type, tak boleh view MMS la bro..

Yes, Trump's siblings oso lidet, if i let them play at the back which is close to the newspaper, they will not miss to pee & poo on the paper; but if let them roam freely, aiseh! they will be lazy butt or cant tahan to rush back to the back, so i think need to slowly expand the freedom.

So when u r free do post the photos here or better still at my forum ok? Thanks! Miss him a lot!!

Yes, toy breed dogs are suitable for indoors, but u need to be aware not all are suitable in condos.

For eg. chihuahua is relatively more barky while minpin is generally alert, hyper & barky. But it really depends for individual dogs, but to generalise, these 2 u mentioned are more hyper & barky.

While for shih tzu & maltese, they are not that hyper & less barky. Shih tzu, extra care needed on the eyes. Both shih tzu & maltese are long coat so need to comb the hair everyday, shih tzu tends to drop more fur compared to maltese which drops very little fur.

Personally, i love maltese most. smile.gif
