Just chipping in. I don't know why people complain about stock launchers....it's not like fruitco where u are shackled to 1 interface. This is android and u can change whatever u want.
I don't even remember what Touchwiz looks like as it only lasts 5 mins after a reset or rom flash. Sense, TW, miui whatever. ..just change it.... |

Come to think of it night shots with flash when outdoors are useless on a phone camera. I took some pretty nice shots of Shanghai at night with no flash. Just need to hold your hands steady.

The response of this compared to the Note 3 and One Max will be interesting.

QUOTE(lucaswjk @ Aug 2 2013, 02:59 PM) tw mega ui not bad, can hv landscape home screen. Actually this is no different from Zoe in HTC 1 and even worse, the total permanent loss of Bravia and whatever else after you've unlocked the Sony bootloader...so there ... everyone's got their own lockdowns, but Samsung has it a lot less.it have most of the feature offer by the market... quite complete i would say but there r few point i really hate tw framework 1) they integrate all the feature into it... make it hard to port it out 2) worst of the worst... tw framework hv a lot of proprietary code 3) they give tons of feature (aka bloatware) but most of them is not complaint to standard (miracast protocol!!!) wtf 4) some of the feature they will block it, if they detect your device is rooted (OTA, screen mirroring) |

Nice SOT from uncle benny. 6hours is better than a stock Note 2 on 3G.
As uncle benny put it across, you have an 8 or 10 hour workday. If you are on the phone for 6 of those hours, your job must be mobile centric. If you are out and about, using the phone for 6 hours also means you must be sitting down and reading/playing/surfing and not enjoying where you're supposed to be. |

QUOTE(Tsukiyomi001 @ Aug 6 2013, 05:20 PM) good to know there are others with similar thoughts found something, it's a seperated cable http://youtu.be/kOPamU7EXC8?t=1m6s now, the question comes: will the cable be compatible with XZ & XTZ too? QUOTE(Fasap @ Aug 6 2013, 05:23 PM) Nope, the metal contacts on the XZ are different compared to the XZU. XZ are closely placed, while XZU are separated a bit by a magnetic plate in the middle. I wonder if hacking in a Qi charging coil and connecting it to the contacts will work? The coil can sit inside the casing at the back of the phone.... Not sure about the TabZ though |

QUOTE(shockk @ Aug 6 2013, 09:11 PM) As an owner of Nexus 4 phone with Wirlesss Orb Charger and Panasonic Qi Motorized-Charge Pad, I don't really see a need for this as the magnetic dock DK30 makes docking super-simple. And if Sony's tech is as good as Apple MacBooks in charging, it will charge even faster without causing undue heat to the phone. Can't wait to get the DK30! Haha...the hacker in me would like to give it a try, and I prefer standards-based devices and platforms. Qi is a standard.I'm willing to spend the RM60 for a coil and some time to test. |
