there is really no break point in APS. the more the merrier. but at 2.4, your thunderclap will allow you to stick to most of the mobs, except some Leaper with Fast affix, etc.

Ruby on main hand is mostly useful if you spam Bell. for trigen/dual-gen, which main damage is from FoT and Sweeping wind, Emerald is a better choice...

(cow said those in serious, low voice... ahem...)

Just trying out duo gen bell build. It works really good and cuts everything like butter. I'm able to spam bell and regen spirit easily even with thunderclap as primary. Anyone got suggested builds for me to try? So far I'm loving this build

Since you use Circle of skorn, I recommend changing your Chant of resonance to guilding Light. Will grant you and your party 20% DPs.

Haven you try speed palm built or nirvana? Both are record breaking in elite killing speed.

Deckard Cain, DeathTh3Cannon, present me, ALeUNe and cowithgun, ...thanks for your kind responses.

After running around VoTA map from P21 to P31 mostly, solo MP10 sessions and occasionally, with a few party members (present me, faheem and Deckard Cain, separately), my own understanding of the monk character class has been revised completely.

I've come to realise that in order to ensure survivability, the service of a high fear factor (17.5%) Echoing Fury is fast becoming a necessity unfortunately nonetheless, I'm able to pair it up with a ls and os Won Kim Lau interestingly.

Feel free to critique both the active and passive skills of my monk as follow;-

Active Skills
1. Fists of Thunder -Thunderclap
2. Dashing Strike -Quicksilver
3. Serenity -Ascension
4. Mantra of Conviction -Overawe
5. Cyclone Strike -Implosion
6. Sweeping Wind -Cyclone

Passive Skills
1. Resolve
2. Seize the Initiative
3. Pacifism

Gameplay
Activate DS -Quicksilver then followed by CS -Implosion and perform SW -Cyclone instantly. FoT -Thunderclap made it so easy to stick with your constantly feared target and don't forget to spam MoC -Overawe, every 3 second. Finally, Serenity -Ascension is hardly ever use except in the most difficult situation.

MOBAJOBG, don't use Resolve. It only affect those you hit and because FoT had Crowd control and able to interrupt & you kill so fast, it does not benefit much. With the high APS, you can use:
1. Exalted Soul to store the extra spirit - Synergy
2. NDE - defense

With DS & Pacifism in place, you can drop Serenity for Blinding Flash-FITL - Offensive

Very hard to find a sword that actually matches EF's edps. The only weapon that can actually out dps it after I did stimulation is WKL. The APS on EF is too good to pass out. Of course if party play, everyone will be chasing the elite. kekeke

Forgot to mention that my monk will use a main stat, ls and os rare sword called "Horrid Slayer" that belongs to my wizard (which is meant for archon build) in a party game as a replacement to the fearsome Echoing Fury.

EF is truly spectacular if I must say so for solo play when I want to see everything running away from my formidable monk because they're all scared ...hehehe.
