QUOTE(Albert B @ Nov 18 2013, 10:37 AM) Agree, we will have to wait and see how it turns out. Puspakom need to appoint many workshops to do this as well. If not it will be long queue. Anyway below is the Puspakom test flow chart, but I can't find any detail manual, so I look at UK's one, at this site: http://www.transportoffice.gov.uk/crt/doit...lsandguides.htm. |

Finally done with my speedometer modification as suggested by our member gemini sharti. And the odometer is working as trip meter not working any more.
If other member would like to try, extra caution needed when remove the needle as the needle's cap might be fragile. I crush mine. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(gemini sharti @ Nov 19 2013, 12:21 AM) Can the needle be fixed again at its place? Is your speed meter working as normal or izit like 'shaking' at slow speed? Yes the needle fixed. Luckly no shaking at low speed. Actually what I do is, I turn the needle's fitting point a bit (clock wise) before insert the needle to make sure the spring a bit hard. |

QUOTE(wlm6070 @ Nov 20 2013, 09:14 AM) is it ok if we convert old iswara to lmst?jpj kacau x? just change front and back bumper? I dont think JPJ kacau ... still look like lmst! For tailgate ... I think no need to change too but if you change rear lamp ... lmst rear garnish needed too. Further more not sure if Iswara rear lamp fit with lmst rear bumper.and one more question if we want to change to lmst, bonet blkg need to change one set or we still can use old set?? Btw let hear from other member comment. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 26 2013, 05:05 PM) engine mountings (bottom 2 front/back, perhaps the transmission mounting on the left side on top of the transmission) OK. Thank you for the infos. Btw anybody know about FICD ... is it applicable to our iswara?buy ori if can afford, the bottom 2 cheap, however the one on the top left/right is expensive. make sure the mountings are condemned before replacing else wasting money. if the mountings are ok, check your spark plugs/air intake, maybe perform decarbon on the carburettor, check spark plug/plug cable, check/replace air filter, maybe consider using better engine oil, tune the carb (AFR, idles), check car grounding, car battery etc. |

QUOTE(Albert B @ Nov 30 2013, 11:21 AM) My car's system is different from yuors, so I am unable to show where. Maybe members with same system can help. Tqvm. I can only make a guess (from photos from internet) : it connects to underside of the air filter housing. Look there and see if got connectors After re-route the hose ... now no more vibrations. Thanks to all. This post has been edited by mo66: Nov 30 2013, 11:34 AM |

QUOTE(Albert B @ Feb 7 2014, 10:37 AM) It is possible the rust is affecting the cooling efficiency. My '99 iswara need to change water every 4-5 month, if not engine temp up to almost red!. After change it normal again ie below middle bar. Every time changed, water color yellow ie rusty color. The reserve tank water can be removed by creating a water siphon using the garden hose. |
