Hi,

Been driving an Iswara daily for the past 15 years. Just found out about this forum and gone through a lot of helpful tips and tricks. Do add me to the list. biggrin.gif

What do you mean? blink.gif

Anyways, the car is a 2000 Iswara 1.5 (A). I guess they were the first batch that were equipped with the "new design" steering wheel (the T-type). In the past 15 years or so it has gone from standard factory specs, to (my) waist-high with loud exhaust and I.C.E., etc. and now slowly taking it back to factory specs. biggrin.gif

Prepared this a while back. The idea was to replace ALL bulbs to LEDs. Need to double-check the accuracy of the info though.

Hello, I'm driving LMST 2005.
Recently I'm having hard time to lock my car using remote. The door lock on driver side won't go down. I've to manually lock it.

After I unlock using remote, all the doors is unlock. But when I try to open the driver side door, it will lock back. I've manually unlock it again. I noticed that this only happen on driver side door.

This happen randomly. Sometimes can lock and unlock my car without any problem.
I guess both of this caused by a same problem. Can anyone enlightened me? Thanks.

I faced a similar problem on my 2000 Iswara and what I did to rectify it was:

1. Disassembled the actuator assembly from the door.
2. Sprayed WD40 (VERY liberally) on all the linkages while loosening them manually (force up/down for a few hundred cycles).
3. Re-assembled everything back.
4. Good as new! thumbup.gif

I did this for both front door actuators.

Good luck!
