I've had it but due to no space, have not build it. Last year, my nephew got it and he was building it on those square table used at hawker stall. Used up 2 of them for the track plus station.

I think EV3 will be able to take NXT components but it's just my wild guess... Never owned one before and I'm looking forward to it!!

I remember punching some numbers back when the Euro was below 4.2 to the Ringgit and arrived at around RM1.5k... Definitely not a cheap toy!
Later when you emerge from your cave to find out all the wonderful sets that you missed out (and EOL), you start again the whole viscous cycle of chasing retired sets...

Straight declare as "LEGO toy". Customs normally see Lego will know.

They can't say got wire treat as cables, cause many other PF sets have wires and remote controllers (Technic, train sets, etc.)

Else, if Customs argue, you say got ARM processor, memory and controller, put under Computer... 0% tax 
My advise, get NXT 2.0 unless you want to collect some parts to combine with EV3 later.
Otherwise, go straight to EV3 first.

Declare as computer set = 0% (if Customs accept it, which I think unlikely    )
Don't put as computer parts/cables, this maybe taxable.

go to the International Tab and note no 5 fine print at the bottom of the page. Small flat rate box and flat rate padded envelopes are not trackable, they have 'L' label.

Sick la some adults. These Lego minifig packets are the aftermath a person's inconsiderate actions.

I suspect this individual was looking for the much sought after Mr Gold. The sad part was that he was pressing the packets in such a detailed and rough manner that the packets are now in terrible shape, and to make things worse, he just left it as such. Didn't even bother to put them back in place.

Why was I there? I was looking for the paintball character.  spent just a few minutes there and put the packets back into place.

All in all, I am disappointed to see such inconsiderate practice even when it comes to toy collection.

BTW, just finish my mobile crane MKII this holiday... my first set that unable to complete in 1 day...
let me share some pictures that i take this morning (haven't apply stickers yet)

personally, i'm prefer the hook to be in one piece of metal, just like those old sets but i don't think it's possible with this size...
and there are "sound of doom" or sound like somethings gonna broken when raise or lower the crane part to maximum point...

took me 2 days to complete (about 13-15 hours) even i'm follow the instruction, only open the packages that's require instead of open all at once... (normally i will open all at once and search through all the parts and this is my first set to use this method and i found it not bad actually... reduce the chances of wrong parts)

probably take me longer time if i apply stickers as well...

first thing that surprise me when i open the box - the wheel... it's really bigger than I had anticipated although there is picture show 1:1 of wheel size but it really surprise me when i take it out from the box

and it not only 10 rubber wheels in MKII i'm sure it can be seen in my pictures

For those not in BOM, found this old treasure when I was cleaning out my store room. Probably only my 2nd Star Wars set. Kinda like the design of this Jedi Starfighter.

The other small box is a Medicom Kubrick Jedi Luke Skywalker.

Hi, need some opinion on Lego minifigures series, I have collected from series 1-10, tho I start to feel the tedious of following the series, so maybe I will let the whole collection go?

I was in part of a 3man gang for the Series, so we buy a box when a new series come out, then we do the manual thing to set our portion aside, if there is sometimes 2 figure issue, we buy extra to make up for 3man gang.

All my figures still in bag and not open(all 10 series) + extras, not sure if anybody is interested in this since the whole collection will cost a bomb to begin with, I don't have the cardboard box, only the figures still in packets.

Lego is still churning out the series at a rapid pace, and I felt can't keep up.

Problem for me:
continue or not continue?
if sell, got ppl want? how much will be the price?
