QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Aug 9 2013, 02:04 PM) Depends on your willpower! A much lighter wallet or massive damage to your credit card bill. No lah its some roadblock operated during the festive season to catch traffic offenders / speeders And if you're going with wife/gf/mistress - an earful of nagging or ear pulling In all seriousness, lots of nice, new stuff. 10xxx series, Kingdoms, Superheroes etc Wah. Another case of luxury sports car theft? Why until Police rider need to block the car This I never seen before ....... the most is the numbering done by the staff written in the packs. The girl was cute too ....... |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Aug 10 2013, 12:01 AM) Muahaha. Exact same words. Have to use detective skills cause ....... "I'm Batman!". Yesterday i accidentally bought DX12 Batman Sorry to burst your bubble bro. But if you're referring to the MIL.... *ahem* I mean the main lady there, then yes, I believe it's the wife. Unless they employed younger female staff there now? Got nano haul yesterday - Indiana Jones minifig. But today - Massive non-LEGO hauls. 2 Detolf cabinets my Hot Toys and maybe LEGO too. |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Aug 11 2013, 06:09 PM) Been so busy - no time for bricking! You are indicating me bro? Hehehehe dont worry! Iron man has no leather Don't like Chima. Can pass. Thanks for the info - but not heading to Ikano. Was there on Friday. Plan to redeem some Bonuslink points for Parkson vouchers. Think can get about RM 110 worth. Thinking what to buy. Have a few sets in mind, may go and look-see at Parkson. OT: been busy setting up my Detolf cabinets for my Hot Toys. Finally done! Taking out figures, inspecting and posing also for display also hard work. Learnt some valuable lessons as well. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Those who plan to start or getting poisoned (you know who you are!), please take heed. Heartbreaking that I found 2 of my figures with damage. Both figures with fake "leather" materials - Hot Toys Terminator Salvation John Connor and Sideshow Aragorn. If you have a weak heart, do not open! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I think my decision to slowly move away from Hot Toys is a good one. What's the worst that could happen to our LEGO - yellowing white bricks? Some minor dents and scratches? Someone mentioned something in the XL forum - our toys need to be opened and displayed. They need to "breathe". I'm starting to believe it. These were kept in boxes, away from direct sunlight yet damage could happen. I have another figure with the fake leather - Bane. I guess I'll remove the jacket and just display it or leave it in the open. Lucky nothing happened to my figures with rubber suits. And yes, I have alot of rubbers. Some of my accessories already starting to get sticky - such as the goggles for my SWAT figure. Our climate really not suitable for these figures. Ubah! |

Went to Parkson this evening, the LEGO corner is soooooo sad.
Only few small boxes of friends set and few buckets of duplo bricks. Tons of Chima speedoz thingy... nothing worth looking at Ended up buying a baby dress for my sis in law's new born coming soon next month. |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Aug 11 2013, 11:37 PM) Yeah bro. Referring to you. Control! Pavilion Parkson... the LEGO section looks pretty damn sad... sighIron Man no leather but hope the "pink undies" problem doesn't happen. And yes. It's painful but no choice. Already happened. Nothing I can do about it now. Which Parkson were you at? Was at 1U but no Man Of Steel sets. New ones are probably some Hobbit, Council Of Elrond and Lone Ranger ones. |

Yeah and now they are pushing Chima because it can't sell, not to say can't sell but the response is not as good as expected and doesn't sell like Ninjago...

QUOTE(ilfort @ Aug 12 2013, 10:14 AM) Their figs i only like the crocodiles because it has potential to become a custom "Croc" in Gotham, since the original Croc is so expensive now.Their weapons are quite awesome, especially the blade with a lightsaber inside hehe |

Sooner or later they will release Green Lantern, Cyborg, Martian Man hunter and a few. I'm guessing because they appear in the LEGO Batman movie Like I mentioned before - I predict (guess |

QUOTE(hades4eve @ Aug 12 2013, 11:16 AM) Hauling Town Hall.... 600++.... 600++ including shipping for Town Hall is a very good deal hehehe To be honest, Winter Village Cottage is relatively like those LEGO family house. But just to have a cottage itself is insufficient because it seems like there is nowhere for the Winter Village Cottage resident to go... unless you mod your Modular to Winter Village feel then is different... IMHO, its quite detail. It packed with Christmas / Holiday feeling... So I would say I give it a 9 for the set, and missing 1 point for being expensive for the set. |
