question: we do know newer body ISO performance is lesser noise...but how about if we set same setting in Aperture mode, same ISO?
will newer body perform faster shutter speed compare to old one with:
1) same ISO
2) same aperture
and What IF FX vs DX? (generally i only know sensor is larger; hence it is adsorb more light only)
then if same ISO, same Aperture, will FX have faster shutter speed than DX?
i dont think there'll be a difference in shutter speed. for example, if u shoot a D40 and a D7100 in aperture priority mode at f/3.5, ISO 1600.... both old noisy body and new body will choose the same shutter speed (same shot, same metering mode, etc)
the only difference would be the D40 photo will be much noisier compared to the D7100 photo.
BUT if u set auto ISO... you can be confortable setting the max ISO on the D7100 higher (say 6400) compared to the D40 (maybe 1600), since D40 at IS0 6400 would be ugly. so in this case, as u allow ur camera to automatically select a higher ISO, then it will use a faster shutter speed

same thing when comparing DX and FX. if u shoot at the same aperture and ISO, the shutter speed will also be the same. but you can be confortable setting a high max auto ISO on an FX rather than a DX.
sifu correct me if im wrong. no experience using FF body
