ver2 = with focus motor

since u getting d7k or d7.1k, ver1 will do since the body has focus motor already if u on tight budget...

If your camera body already have built in focusing motor, no need to find lens with auto focus motor in it, your body can auto focus on that manual lens without a problem.

You get the lens with auto focus motor if your camera body doesn't have a builtnin auto focus motor in it.

Is ur gf using ur lens? If yes, then get the one if af motor

i duno what other lens to buy

17-50mm 2.8 or wide llens ?

i already have 35mm 1.8G with d5100

shooting landscape + street

if u get the 17-50 maybe ull hardly use the 35mm later

had the same thinking

but i do admit i dont use the 11-16 often enough..i might sell it to fund a 70-200 f4

lol..maybe i dont really know how to use uwa apart then for landscape.. and im not big on landscape.

i get what you mean but do be careful as you might be getting an empty photo except for weird distortion. you photographs should have good story/message/composition/lighting/etc rather than just the weird distortion
