Well based on JPA, if its advertise as unlimited it should be unlimited, back in that time there were no FUP
So by law we are not apply to 7mbps if over 30GB, and this statement supported by MCMC and JPA

If you are on legacy plan you shouldn't have any capped. You can take lawyer and sue them for this.
but as said, make sure you are on legacy plan, your monthly bill will be RM104.94 , no more , no less and you cant make any outgoing calls and you cant receive incoming calls.

Of course not, legacy mean you have been subscribe since day one they have Maxis Unlimited, if you change in between you no longer in legacy plan. Why go and change to multisim service ? You are most likely paying RM 68/88 for the internet service + you can make and receive calls.

The FUP started after or in 2008 so if you re-subscribe or make any changes to your plan, it come with new T&C that you are tie to FUP. those who subscribe before FUP can use unlimited and capped.
That is the logic. Maxis called me more than 10 times last year and ask me if i wanted to change my plan to other data plan as they have new promotion and so on, but i ask if the new one have FUP, they say yes. so i dont want to change and keep mine as how it is.

i think you are still confused. legacy data plan have no addon service, its a service only for DATA
and if you notice the tick for unlimited is been grayed out, you cant tick or untick

I can confirm that some accounts that seems and look like Legacy are not actually Legacy if they are capped after a certain so called Quota [ waa, this is a very hot word now quota ] When you call Maxis and mention Legacy, they would not knoe what you are referring to, cause Legacy is our term here. Having said that, and having mentioned much earlier Maxis have successfully identify who is this so called Legacy and who are not. So if you are capped on SPEED but not on Quota ~ this is still a BLESSING. If you are not capped on SPEED and Quota , you are indeed the so called Legacy. Actually by using the Android App mymaxis ,your package is already categorise there.

So pls guys do no PM me how to bypass the SPEED cause one day maxis might take back the good things that we are enjoying now. You want good speed, simple,  use within your limit.

my sim can make call n receive call and i pay rm99 + rm60 for the multisim (4 ),  i subcribed to this rm99 unlimited package more than 5 years ago.

I'm in that group. It's also legacy unlimited cuz I'm subscribed to it since 2007. It's categorized under GPRS service, and it's a data service on its own. Regardless you have it attached to a call plan or not, that service itself is legacy and discontinued. Don't remove it.. You can change your call plan, just like I did, and still keep the data plan.

This applies to multisim service as well. It's just an added service if you have multiple devices. You're not changing the actual plan, so you're not affected unless, you sign up for some contract based packaged plan, then you're subjected to new terms and conditions.

Data only plans can attach call plans like ours. Not separate legacy plans.

hi all, i just clarified in maxis centre pyramid, for those subcribed to rm99 unlimited data package(which can make outgoing calls ), but not for those biz package ya, its call MOBILE ENCHANCED MOBILE DATA PLAN!

my maxis app shows MONTHLY UNLIMITED but being cappped on 7mbps. 

and the maxis staff mention my plan is MOBILE ENCHANCED MOBILE DATA PLAN
