But anyways, when i'm running real close to the GK or have a 1 v 1 chance with the GK, generally i avoid smacking the ball hard. I mean its a little bit of common sense and courtesy not to do that la. But if in tournament or whatever competetive match, when you have to score, you will have to smack it lor.

Having said that, in one of those weekly futsal matches, don't have to give it all. If you have to risk injuring yourself or let in a goal, i rather let in a goal.

Those are for paintball, not goalkeepers. We do VERY different things that really requires whole range of movement. Arm guard will seriously limit it and plus, have anyone really had their arms injured playing goalkeeper before?

I still hate wearing protective gear, even though I have 2 knee pads and shin guards in my kit bag .. The lack of training and motivation is getting to me though, I have a tendency to instinctively dive to my left in most of the situations, which you imagine does not help when covering the near post on the right. I used to make up for this with positioning and concentration, but lately I can see that is lacking from my game.

Maybe I really do need to go to bro tenno's goalkeeper classes
