QUOTE(MatShadow @ Nov 20 2013, 12:28 AM) Ha.ha.. max at 42C and dropped after that. your charging temperature chart demn strange....how come the temp drop at battery 73% like that....Charging Completed. Taken slightly over 2hrs. Using Ori Lenovo charger supplied. Here is the graph. [attachmentid=3730913] mine is 45C deg for the whole duration of charging...I m puzzled. is totally different from yours by 3-4C degree Edit: I also use default charger and no aircon room. U too? most puzzling is why urs drop temp to 27C while still charging...it is like the temp when the phone is totally idle. but honestly, at this point ie 74% i didnt really check my temperature. see your chart only I realised my friend htc 1x is charging temp 35C. considerably lower than ours. 7c deg difference...edit: or 10C deg in my case and your charge time quite decent. about 2.5hrs for 90%....thats about right for 0 to 100% about 3hrs as stated. I didnt really time mine accurately This post has been edited by wayfeel: Nov 20 2013, 12:49 AM |

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Nov 20 2013, 07:16 AM) No worries cos our battery is bigger they use bigger Amp charger... so it will charge the phone faster... as long as it does not goes over 45 it is ok.. that is battery temp not CPU temp... Ya I agree that the apps/software is programmed to do this. When I do overclocking on my older phone we make sure it slowdown a lil after 45 and if it goes until 50, the app will tune down the cpu speed to half so the cpu will cool down... the funny thing is that the p780 manual also exactly stated that "Avoid exposing the P780 to extreme temperatures (lower than -10°C or higher than 45°C)." That kind pique my curiosity; I'm 1 more degree away from 'EXTREME TEMP' Lol I was wondering 45C DEG? Why it seem such a great coincidence or lenovo knew this phone was gonna have a 45 deg charging temperature so I started feeling curious and ask around you guys what charging temp u guys having from avoiding 'exposing to ext temp'. Coz In longterm I do want a 'healthy' battery lifespan (edit:coz as we know ,heat reduces battery lifespan) also thats why digging into this mini-topic and the factors that cause varying charging temperature btw phones of same model. unless kl temp is lower 3deg than kk in the case of matshadow The same model, same charger, theoretically should beget around same temperature right. I still want to check my phone charging why is matshadow temp drops at 73%....demn strange. What causes that linear drop while still charging Well, I'm just doing this for fun now dont worry This post has been edited by wayfeel: Nov 20 2013, 11:00 AM |
