Went to Sunway Umobile last Friday waited 1H30M to Port in Umobile (from Digi). On Monday i try call to Umobile to check on the port in status and Umobile mentioned there is an error from the Donor (meaning from Digi). Called to Digi and checked, CS said dont have any port out application from my side.

Called to Umobile again, ask CS to help me resubmit my application. Receive SMS from both Umobile & Digi and wait for the updates. On Wednesday, called to Umobile to check on my status. CS said still waiting from Digi updates. Called to Digi, CS said got error from my application. Saying my number have subline and cannot port out. Umobile have to submit 1 application with 2 mobile. I was like WTF, all this while since last Friday I had submitted the application correctly to Umobile.

Wednesday get a Umobile agent to help me resubmit. Very fast immediate get a SMS notification on the status. Today (Thursday) received a notification from Digi saying my port out status is rejected. Called to Digi, CS said the same error. Application must submitted in 1 form if owners have 2 line (principle & supplementary line). Argue with CS and said this is my 3rd time and pretty sure im doing the right way. All was in 1 form.

Today, get the dealer to help me to resubmit again. Hopefully finger cross able to port in Umobile. I had no problem port from Maxis to Celcom, Celcom to Digi but got problem from Digi to Umobile. All my payment are done by auto debit and no blacklisted at all. I cannot think of any reason why have this kind of error except Digi dowan to release my number to Umobile. I think a lot of others telco MNP try to port in to Umobile that's why they're using this kind of strategy.

End up if we fed up, and we will give up to port out. Then telco will win in this case. Just my guessing only. Will update again my port in status.

Status update for today.

1. Yesterday Received both Digi & Umobile notification (port out D, port in U)
2. Just Called to Digi to check status. CS said my application was rejected and very sorry. My application was no problem, this time 2 number are in 1 form. Just this time is some "TECHNICAL ISSUE". Please call or go to Umobile to resubmit my application again.

Actually i already expected it will be rejected. Digi is trying to hold their customer right now.

first of all, I can be sure all telcos D M C all trying very very hard to stop their customers to port to Umobile, like Maxis would call u and provide better offer before confirm u porting, digi or celcom might easily reject with funny reason, and sometimes it happens that port from Celcom to Digi is lot easier from Celcom to Umobile.

2nd. umobile CS still not that full of knowledge and surely not keep following up ur problem too.

3rd. i m not sure if the dealer submit in the right way because sometimes umobile system is very STRANGE, but below t&c must apply
a. must port all main and supp together, no matter what plan u choose,  1 main u28 2 prepaid or 1 p50 2 supp ...
b. no outstanding @ digi
c. must key in the system correctly, u might still receive the sms even key in wrongly.

after all, DiGi should be happy to keep their customer stay.

So, if u still interested in umobile, may give a last try on this problem as i am a slightly better experience dealer  tongue.gif

1. Totally Agreed on this.
2. Umobile agent is very good, keep follow up with me. Or else she wont get her commission.
3. It could be, but this is the 4th time submission. Very fishy here blush.gif
a. The form i had stated and write it very clearly, all the numbers under my name all port out together. Stated clearly the number, & donor. I think the CS is know much better than me. Witness it is indeed in 1 form.
b. No outstanding, all this while is doing auto debit.
c. no idea on this. impossible submit 4th still doing wrongly.

Now we know how fishy is the donor and cant compete with their competitor. Anyway had get the dealer to help me to resubmit for the 5th time icon_question.gif

My case was submitted 4 application, myself received 4 notification while my supplementary only received 1 notification. Yes i think now all telco are playing this trick.... blink.gif

Hi,
Just asking, regarding the free unlimited calls is it including those free toll numbers 1300 xx xxx , 1800 xx xxxx ? TM 100 ?
