anyone here have any idea whether I can downgrade my existing postpaid U28 to prepaid U18? I'm currently underutilizing my U28 and I just found out prepaid U18 have additional perks compared to U28 that is actually useful to me.

roaming in SG, free calls and msg that suits my usage, and a not too little amount of data considering this is my secondary phone line.

if that is the case, I'll just MNP to Maxis or some other provider for a month or so and MNP back to Umobile prepaid.

I think I'll just go straight for MNP. This is my secondary number with very minor usage only. I mean like no harm trying Digi right? but I'm not sure whether umobile will accept if I MNP back to their services after 1 month hahaa.

Problem is this number is not reg under my name, so I'm trying to avoid any awkward convos at the service centre itself. I have a digital copy of the IC that is registered to this number, so it is not some fraud or whatsoever.

does anyone here work for umobile? I really need an insider help to get me out of my shitty situation now.

Im using a umobile postpaid line that is registered under my sis's name, and the thing is she is studying overseas and wont be back till end of next year. Meanwhile I might be jetting off by the end of this month and I dont want to pay RM30 ish every month for 1 year and not using the line, I just want to switch to prepaid. I asked the service centres and said its possible and fowarded me to their CS. And they refused to do it even if I could provide my sis docs.

Ughhh, I really need help.
