Because it's been over two months since I have reported my problem to U Mobile and they are still sending me the standardised, canned response: "Kindly be informed that we had notified the respective department with immediate effect as we are concerned towards (sic) this matter. My problem in a nutshell: I subscribed to U Mobile's Broadband service for a while (about 6 months I think) then stopped; not because the service was bad, but I got an offer for a fibre package that I could not resist. My account was up to date in payments, and I amicably cancelled the service. This was 4 years ago.

Recently I was trying to sign up for an additional service on my current telco, and I got a rejection due to "amounts unpaid". After some research, it seems that my U Mobile account kept running after I had cancelled, and they said I owed them some 6 additional months of subscription.... RM403.60.

I then informed them that I had cancelled earlier and could prove it: I had cut my SIM on the last day of the service, so would definitely have had zero usage from then on.

This issue has now dragged on for over two months, and I have even filed with the Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM). The most ridiculous part is that they ask insane details of my cancellation, including:

- Exact Date and Time the termination request was made (compulsory):
- Description of the Sales person who assist with the request (compulsory): (Gender/Race/Age/Name)

This termination happened FOUR YEARS ago!!!

So now tell me how unreasonable I am to be upset about U Mobile's response (or lack thereof) to this issue.

bad for u.... the line should be bar if over certain limit of amount, but i not sure. mayb they continue charge u fix monthly rate. if u still keep the termination receipt then still got hope else really no ... can only ask for discount...

my 3gb quota finish yet last week... now i still need to wait few more days to renew... nvr expect my first u28 3gb data would finished .

Wat Lao.......I actually think will celcom offer the same rm70 unlimited or not.... Feel want to change but I still want to keep my value basic 38 la..... By the way this basic 38 average bill is rm55 only la...

I wish to see is u28 drop to u23(hope so ) or take out SMS but replace with more call min....

this hero plan is really hero .

unlimited call really can grap some customer specially those town / city resident ppl as umobile coverage is good . some more can use maxis 2g when no umobile signal.

no contract some more.... win all the way liao

mayb congested after the u28 promo. last time when celcom launch basic 38 a lot of ppl also complaint the signal issue.

Enjoying my u28 with lte mode at my mum house. Speed is blazing fast. Pair with my nexus 5 is even butter smooth

i don think so, mayb certain area got line congested. today my u28 perform vy well with lte signal. download some 30mbps apps few second finish.

U Kwang which part. Now most of the klang area umobile got 4g already. But some , some only the place sometimes u can see h signal but load page is slower then using Digi. I have also celcom to compare .

This month u28 over use the data plan. But last month left 1.7gb burnt.... Wish Umobile can offer like Celcom 38 aloe balance data plan to carry forward for u28

is waze eat a lot of data? i notice that my total usage is 100mb a day. and i only use that phone for 2 times waze a day.
