From my experience, better to find good 4-1 extractor than 4-2-1 for Neo~

that is my point, changing airbox doesn't have any performance increase but you can enjoy the looks~ but changing to K&N doesn't have any significant improvement, it is just placebo bro~ talking from my own experience~

why do you want to stick to 195 width? 205 is good enough, can consider 205/45/R16~ btw, I am using 205/50/R15 brows.gif

my car is standard only, auto summore~ slow car~ but if you ask me what should you mod first, I will say go for upgrading the brake hose to steel braided and change brake pad to Project U~ the improvement you get really worth the money~
*
Really bro 4-1? Most shops also tell me the same thing. Neo CPS, manual also. Better with 4-1. But im actually looking for better acceleration instead of higher top speed. And from my research through Mr. Google, 4-2-1 with s-flow piping is better suited for that.

Haha might be true regarding the air box. Damn the R3 CF airbox is nice. Some fella quoted me more than 1k for used item. Mental.

205/45/r16 is one im looking at. Might be getting the Michelin PS3 if that time still got money left. Yoko Advan too hardcore for me hehe

Ah i left the brakes in my list. I'll give that a look around after the exhaust is done. I'm currently on 100% city drive, max speed reached 120kmph (very rarely) with lots of traffic lights and potholes. Hence my target of acceleration. Comfort nvm because long distance (back to Kelantan during raya) is done with a super floaty Naza Ria tongue.gif

the difference in acceleration between 4-1 and 4-2-1 is not much but u lost more top speed on 4-2-1~ 180km/h is not that fast either on car like this so u won't want to lose the top speed much~ whistling.gif
*
Oh really bro? that's good to know. No wonder most shop also suggest 4-1 with straight flow. Now bored with the stock exhaust sound. Feel like nothing only haha sweat.gif

2/5 of whoever that uses SC will have the same problem.
R3 however, is made by tonnka. Who is tonnka? google and see who they sponsor  whistling.gif
However that's not to say they don't crack. I've heard of people cracking their tonnka extractors, but have never seen them IRL.
Tommy Ho ended up running R3 extractors and I've never heard him complain about it tho.
*
Yeah bro, heard of tonnka before. I'm actually leaning towards SC before this. But after discovering the problems that some of those you used SC and R3 also having promotional periods, might go for R3 in the end. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying R3 is bad. But you can't blame me for siding with SC when 2-3 of my friends are using them and they all are loving it. That's why I'm here, to get more unbiased opinions 👍😎

I don't think installing R3 exhaust will void the warranty. I have asked the R3 staff about this b4 installing mine. He said that as long as you don't touch anything in engine, then the warranty will not void

If install R3 camshaft and crankshaft, then yes it will void the warranty
*
Installing the R3 exhaust will void the warranty ONLY for the exhaust. FWIW, the warranty for the exhaust system is only for 1 year. My car is going to be that old in a few months. So what the heck, right? R3 parts do come with warranty, how long im not too sure, have to ask them. Supercircuit also got warranty, but read somewhere some people complain hard to claim if anything happen to the exhaust. Might go for the R3. Now waiting for bonus next month rclxms.gif

Not recommended, R3 lowering spring really lowers your car bro~ u might scrape the speed bumps~ I have R3 springs installed on Gen.2 and I scraped bumps everywhere until I changed to 195/60/R15~ u might consider 205/50/R15 bro brows.gif else, get adjustables and reduce the ride height a bit~
*
agreed bro. even without r3 spring also im afraid to park at underground/elevated carpark. have to park in the sun and walk far. park underground/elevated always scrape here and there mad.gif

Get adjustables and reverse rake it. If I'm not mistaken Neos are naturally front raked and thus scrape a lot. I lowered my rear by a shit load and now it doesn't scrape at all.
*
Yeah bro noticed that too. The ass kinda terangkat a bit. Might fiddle with the suspension later in the year after the car reached 1 years old thumbup.gif

its quite difficult to dismantle the headlamp. especially to remove the headlamp from car. have to remove the bumper 1st.
thats y most shops only sell without install.

well if that's the case, there's absolutely no chance for me to DIY haha. I'm a bit like Jeremy Clarkson of top gear, the most impractical man in the world when it comes to DIY yawn.gif

Uishhhh ya ke? Baru igt nak sell it for dirt cheap lol. If keep, storage problem bro. Some more still living with parents, confirm kena bebel haha. Next in my planning is the suspension. Gonna spend 4-5 months researching, but now seriously leaning towards FTuned. The only problem is i don't even know what hi lo soft hard means zzz icon_question.gif

thanks mate . what would be a reasonable price for a R3 styled PU splitter (i like the R3 look a lot so if I change my stock R3 splitter to PU, i would try to stick to the same design)? just to get a rough idea so as to avoid kena slashed.
*
Before buying the car, I too was worrying about the front splitter. But you'll get used to it scraping the road eventually. Heck, mine scrapes the road everyday because to go inside the car porch i need to go through an incline. So everyday scrape2 until now don't care anymore lol biggrin.gif

hahaha thats what you say now. When I took a look at my bumper, the bottom was so scuffed up that I can't even mount a splitter (mine's the normal neo, non CPS so no splitter). My front radiator frame thing was bent inwards and my exhaust was scrapped till it leaked hahahahaha
*
Lol bro this one different case d. I was talking about scrape the splitter. Your case confirm got sport spring somemore. I also in two minds about changing my suspension because of issues like your story la zzz doh.gif

haha the stock suspension for a neo is honestly ridiculous. If I'm not mistaken it's a little forward raked. If you get aftermarket suspension, make sure you can play around with the height. Go to a alignment shop that can do suspension and ask for reverse rake. My car is lower than before but it never scrapes anymore.
*
Eh how's that possible? Lower but never scrape? Man there's still lots for me to learn about suspension before thinking of changing mine. What brand do u use for yours bro?
