Need a help from you all...
Why I always got blank dvd when I burn data disc with NEro 7 Premium?
When the dvd is burned, I can know that it's burn by see the data pattern that is on another side of the dvd.
But when I insert into my dvd-rom, it is like a brand new dvd-r that is empty.
It can't be burn anymore when I try to reuse the dvd.

Do you all have this problem before?
Please let me know if you know the way to solve this problem.

By the way, I am using Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-110D.
Will the problem cause by my dvd-rw ?

you can say so.
Ideally, you have 3 options

1) buy another dvd-rom
2) buy good DVD-R/+R
3) buy another dvd burner..depends on you

my option, either 1 or 2.

If so i will buy a new dvd burner.....
what brand is better?
Can burn most of dvd no metter is good one or the lauya one...

actually nero 7 have bug..
last time i used it to burn normal thingy into my cdr.. also got problem like u.. cant burn at all..
so now i switch to use the older version of nero.. if im not mistaken is nero 6

If u plan to get a new drive, LG will be my recommended. By the way, i also having the same problem sometime with my liteon cdrw. Once burned, read by the same drive but nth inside, dint even detect the dics some more. Now with the LG 4167B, everything run fine.

U can try another DVDr media like verbatim or ricoh. And also try burn it with Nero6 and see how.

can your pioneer writer read the disc?
what media is it?

i think u should install nero6. I using nero6 now. Got one forumer also having problem with nero7. He cant install nero7!!

i burn with another dvd+R is ok, named MEDIA.
But cant burn with iTTA.... maybe it's too cheaplak ?

Err... it's not too cheap la!! Maybe your burner cant read that brand of dvd. Some burner is like that. Sensitive type of burner

errr....first of all.....tis question might not applicable to u but hey ill just ask anyway...

1) does ur setting when u wanna burn is set to DVD instead of CD/CDRW???
2) does ur setting chose the dvdrw as the burner...???

if all this is set properly then maybe ur drive...but if drive prob...normally ull get a failed burn....

anyway....see la how...if its kaputt edi go rma...

my problem with nero 7 premium is i cant set the speed (cant find the setting)
it burn 8x then my DVD become corrupted sometimes...
now i use roxio....better

MaYBE nero7 got buggy! I no use version7! i use version6! It's works like a charm

try roll back to nero 6.6 lah, more stable.

try to flash to v1.39 for your Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-110D. anyway i do run across from some forums and never or seldom heard pioneer dvd burner gives them a headache.

I think it's not the burner issue. He does say that nero6 works for him. Only nero7 didn't work. Maybe the software issue

uninstall ur nero7 and try to get nero 6.6.1.4...very nice and stable...go download and see how..look like it's juz the software issue..dun juz straight buy...try 1st.. ^^
