Yes it can be used, but the frequency isn't as low as a wah that is made for the Bass, so you can't really hear the wah effect as much......

Why not get the Dunlop 105Q Bass wah? http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=pr.../p_and_e_detail

Exactly like what blacktrix explained.
I plugged in my basses into JD JH-1 wah, it sounded very light. The wah-wah sound is there but kinda faint.

For the people with shallow pocket, Behringer have a wah which cost less than RM 200. The only bad thing about that wah is that the body are made from plastic. Serial pedal abuser have to stay clear from this thing.

You go, dawg! thumbup.gif

Back to the topic, my first pedals were Boss ODB-3, Ibanez SB7 and Ibanez BC5. I bought 3 of them in one package from a friend nod.gif
Earlier before that, I got myself Behringer Bass V-Amp. It never meant to be multi-effects to be honest, it work better mainly as amp simulator.

My next target is the Behringer Wah. The ultimate would be Boss GT-6B or Line 6 Bass PODxt LiveLong way to go. Those two babies would eliminate my need to buy another gadget for a very2 long time. nod.gif

It's interesting to read 'em, although many of the info pretty incomplete.

What's the difference between the CFH Wah and the Crybaby? Actually trying to go for the Cliff Burton tone here, was originally buying a Big Muff instead of the Fab Tone but the seller sold it to someone else  sad.gif  .

CFH are more versatile than normal Crybaby, it have a lot of extra modifications. Kinda like a hot-rod wah.

The Blowtorch are pretty versatile as well since they have so many knobs for different frequencies. Judging solely by the sound clip at their website, the tone was pretty good but somehow, I found it a little bit clean.

If Burton is your target, try to stay clear from digital/clean-like tone. Burton tone are gritty. You can't go wrong with a Big Muff. nod.gif

Meanwhile, Burton uses Morley Power Wah. You might want to check it out nod.gif

Blowtorch a bit too mahal...and what about with the Sansamp BDDI? Have you used it before?
*
Not that I had hand-on experience on it but a lot of fellow bassist that I knew liked it. It gave them more warmth to the tone.

Sansamp have a programmable version of BDDI. I like this one better because can switch setting faster.

BDDI have always been compared with MXR M80+. MXR were the cheaper one but have distortion capability. To each of his own, I guess.
