My first effects pedal was the Digitech RP3. Decided to get it fixed lately and tried playing with it and realised why the company's name is called Digitech. The effects really sounded very digital. Not natural enough, well to me. Even when using a tube amp.

But from an electronic point of view, the signal coming from the bass can be processed via the electronic effects pedal though

Was using a Digitech RP3 (first multi-effects pedal) until recently when I bought a Boss GT8. Looking at the way I play, I think I don't deserve to use the Boss. LOL, need to spend more time on it figuring out how it works.
