actually ozil plays similiar position as kagawa. best played as centre attacking midfielder so we dont really need him. occasionally he played on right side of midfield..

Even if rooney goes to chelsea, he wont be guaranteed a first team place anyway. They play with 3 attacking midfielder(Hazard - Oscar - Mata) and one centre forward. There's torres, BA, lukaku and shurrle can play centre forward as well. And u know mourinho when he was at real madrid, he even dares to drop casillas ....what more if rooney doesnt perform This post has been edited by nshady: Aug 17 2013, 02:23 AM

QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Aug 17 2013, 07:30 AM) people always forget we are under new manager. DM always have preference to play with lone striker, so 2 CAMs in a starting line up will be not unusual sight. based on the game against Wigan, the likes of Giggs and Welbeck was seen played as CAM/inter changeable AM. btw all ESPN expert predict we will not finish as champions. even one predict us outside top 4. i love when media write us off.. Predictions 2013-14Still i dont see ozil coming over(He plays as an integral part of real's attacking, and being one of perez's favourite player). We've got kagawa, giggs, lingard, welbeck, and januzaj. Modric can play CM/AM if we can get him This post has been edited by nshady: Aug 17 2013, 08:31 PM

Moyes reveals Sir Alex chatsQUOTE United manager David Moyes has revealed that he has met with Sir Alex Ferguson several times as he continues to plot the future at Old Trafford.
As the new boss prepares for the start of the Barclays Premier League title defence at Swansea City, he has sought counsel with his predecessor and wants him to continue having an input into the new regime.
"Sir Alex is still here and he will be," explained Moyes. "I went to see him at home the other day. He was great and is recovering from his hip operation.
"I will use him for advice and he will be a great mentor for me. I am really looking forward to speaking with him. I have probably had half a dozen conversations with him already.
"But I don't think I have gone there for any advice. I have gone there and said: 'This is how things are going what are you thinking?' He is going to be someone who is around. I want him to be around.
"On the first day I met him, we had discussions about the team within an hour. Within the first 10 minutes of talking, and him telling me I was getting the job, we had already had discussions about the team and what would have to be done and what was expected, like sponsors, media, all the things that come from a big club. There were no airs and graces. He didn't feather it. He told me straight and he told me what it was going to be like. He would expect me to get on and do the job myself."
The Reds boss was also asked if his fellow Scot could get involved in any attempts to get transfer business over the line.
"I don't think we have used him for that," he asserted. "This club has ways and means of attracting the top players to the club but if we needed to use Sir Alex he would be more than happy to help, I have no doubt about that."
Moyes feels it may take a little time to completely stamp his own influence on the team as that is always the case when a new man takes over the helm at a club.
"It might take me 18 months to two years to get things changed around," he explained. "I don't know how long Sir Alex thought it took him to get it the way that he wanted it. At a club like Manchester United, I will get the opportunity to do that. There might be other clubs where you wouldn't." http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features...n.aspx?pageNo=1It's david moyes partially assisted my SAF This post has been edited by nshady: Aug 17 2013, 10:26 PM

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Aug 21 2013, 09:16 PM) http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/42...nes-alternativeWon't mind Shaw at all. Still young and room for improvement + developments United target Luke Shaw not for sale
QUOTE Southampton will reject any bids from Manchester United for Luke Shaw and insist the left-back is not for sale. David Moyes was reported to be switching his attention to Shaw after seeing two offers for Leighton Baines rejected by his former club Everton. But sources have told ESPN that United are yet to contact Southampton about the 18-year-old, who signed a five-year contract at St Mary's last month. And ambitious Saints, who have spent around £40 million on Dejan Lovren, Victor Wanyama and Pablo Osvaldo this summer, are adamant that their best players are not for sale. United bid £12m for Baines and had a £28m joint offer for the England international and Marouane Fellaini rebuffed, deemed "derisory" by Everton. They were then linked with Shaw, who has been scouted by Chelsea and Arsenal in the past. Patrice Evra has continued to occupy the left-back position for Moyes' United but his deputy, Alexander Buttner, is being tipped to join Turkish side Besiktas. Read more at http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story...MHP0MMdcwtth.99QUOTE 21/08/2013: Croatian publication Jutarnji List claims Real Madrid star Luka Modric has told his international colleagues that he is ready to move to United if the two clubs can agree a fee. However, Xabi Alonso's broken metatarsal means coach Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to want to lose a player he also tried to sign for Chelsea. This post has been edited by nshady: Aug 22 2013, 12:37 AM

QUOTE(arthur5011 @ Aug 30 2013, 11:59 AM) Maybe we should sign KaKa. Since he said he want to leave and I think we can use him for at least 2 years. SourcePrefer kagawa as they both play best as the same position. CAM. and kaka is injury prone. No longer the kaka he was once before at AC milan.
