just send my phone last wed to SIS Kelana Jaya because of the Power Buttons and the Purple Shadow. the actually already know about both of the problems and it is common especially for the early batch. they said that they will exchange my phone 1 to 1. but this morning i called them, they said that they will fix the defect and it will be done in the coming fridays.  =(

if ur repair involves only hardware, i dun think they check root status. Correct me if im wrong

yup.hopefully it fix PERFECTLY without any other defects.huuu.but why didnt they change it one to one?   

i have the purple tint issue but i don't think it's the hardware issue as i just got the issue after updating to 4.2.2. Don't even bother to send for checking

Today collected phone which they changed the housing of the phone. I like that cos back cover changed as well which previously i had scratches at the edge

But but but.... the new housing has issue. Power button and volume buttons are too deep inside. I could still bear with the volume buttons but the power button i can't feel the bump when my finger ran across through the top. Can still power on/off the phone but much much harder. Imagine i use power button more often , to power on/off cos i dont use app to do so.

It's almost like the case of sunken power button issue that worldwide users reported.

SIS told me it's within their specs after went into the back checking with engineer. I sat there for long time hoping they could do something. The agent finally said will send in for supervisor see how it goes. So i have to leave there for unknown resolution

huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu how to accept the "within their specs" when i initially bought the phone without this problem? Truly disappointed with HTC and SIS

I posted my problem with the gap on my htc one on the HTC Malaysia Facebook page last Friday and today they finally replied me, asking me to send my full name, contact details and IMEI number to their email and I did. In the email i stated that i wanted a one-on-one exchange on the spot, and i gave them a bunch of reasons for that. After a few hours i called their call centre, asking them about my enquiry and they said they're working on it and will reply my email in the next 24 hours. I also told the guy about the issue i'm having and i again pointed out that i want a one-on-one exchange on the spot. So the guy told me that he will try his best and he have to check whether the time square service centre have available stock or not and he will get back to me. So here i am patiently waiting for their response and i know that most of u would say that it's impossible to get one-on-one exchange on the spot but hey, it doesn't hurt to try right..haha..hope things do go my way though..wish me luck 

yup..oh so u're Alvin Yeoh? haha..my advice would be spamming their facebook and calling their call centre,and u try email them..the staff say they will reply within 24 hours..i posted around 10.30am today, hoping to get a response tomorrow morning..will update u regarding my issue..good luck to u

i know right? but i still have to wait for the service centre to call me..i think they havent call me cause the stock reach their inventory but they havent order the front desk to call me yet..still, I'm very impressed   hope they call me tonight so i can go get my phone 2moro

Hey guys, it's been a while. Great to see the community has grown substantially haha. I must share this with you all. During Raya everyone was relying on the One for photoshoots and selfies. They admire the camera quality and really enjoyed the wide camera on both front and back haha. Suddenly I became a makeshift photographer.
