Backing up using nandroid is very useful whenener u wanna flash or do somethings uncertain..it also helps u to save time actually..when a flash gone bad, u can just restore immediately thru recovery..rather than flashing a Rom again and need to re-setup your phone..

So far I havent had any issue with nandroid and have confidence with it..just my experience^^

Exactly..for purple tint issue, if it annoys u then just go to service center..for those of u who wants to buy but afraid of this issue, well u can always try the phone before buying..if it happens just ask for another unit.. money is yours and it's your right to decide whether u want that unit or not..if u don't like it or found purple tint issue then just don't pay for it.. cheers..

You need custom kernel to do that uv..and also how much lower you can go actually depends on your chip..we have pvs bining..

On stock, the higher pvs binning you have, the lower default voltages is..which means if u have higher pvs, u can have lower voltages and vice versa..we have binning ranging from 1-5..

i support sending it..u spend a so much money on it and u deserve to get the best out of it..
though it might cost sometime, but i think its better than living with purple tint forever..

I tried faux before..I don't feel it's battery saving for me..imo I think elementalx is the best for me right now..

Don't uv too much..uv too much won't save battery imo..it's like u are forcing someone to work for u and yet u only give him eat 1 meal..it's going to be force to work more thus choose to ramp up the frequency..

I only uv the lowest frequency which is 384mhz ..uv from 875mv to 825..that's it..

I would suggest u to revert everything back and s-on+locked bootloader+stockrom..just to avoid any unnecessary problem that might arise..

From my experience, I have my my phone soff and rooted..and one day it's not able to turn on..I send my unit back to HTC through senq and they fix it..come back with shppied 4.1.2 Rom..I'm sure when they managed to turn it on they will see it's rooted..anyway I still suggest u to revert back

If your htc one has no hardware issue, and only have small gap I suggest u to diy to glue it back..I mean if what I suggest is possible.. if the gap is too serious then obviously u can't do what I said..

I have gaps on my HTC one too..I just glued the gap..now it's gapless..hehe

Just use liquid glue..I use loctite liquid glue..and have some tissue..apply very very little and quickly press it so it would glue together..and also quickly use tissue to wipe off any unnecessary glue that squeeze out .. need to be quick cause it dry fast..care though not to let it flow into the speaker grill..just very tiny drop of glue and that's it

For those new owner, if u plan to root your phone later someday, i suggest you to s-off first before updating to 4.2.2

Reasons:
1) in 4.1.2, you have hboot 1.44.. currently s-off is doable with hboot 1.44
2) if u are in hboot 1.54 with s-on, theres no way to s-off
3) if u s-off during 1.44, and u update to 4.2.2, it will still install hboot 1.54, but u will still keep s-off
4) most importantly, s-off gives u the opportunity to revert back to stock and make it as if un-rooted so u can send back to htc for warranty claim..

If u dont have plan to root then just go ahead and update to 4.2.2

not sure if worth to get from celcom but definitely worth to get this phone..

err..the articles only mention for htc one developer edition.. but i have no concern..cause im rooted..
so xda developers will soon get it done to 4.3 ^^

upmost systems yupe..too bad..unless the previous user s-off first on 1.44 before updating to 1.54.. guess have to wait rev team to support this..
