Successfully perform the mouse wheel surgery with a toothpick tongue.gif
its basically the same as this vid.
it save you $$ of buying new mouse and i believe the toothpick is much sturdy than the plastic ultra fragile tip of razer.

That is one neat trick.

I think I will need to perform surgery on my Razer Serval gamepad as the left shoulder button is sort of stucked at the moment.

I have done it for my Xbox One controllers and I think Razer Serval gamepad would be very similar to the Xbox One controllers (in terms of the location of the components).

Hi, I own a Razer Taipan White. I notice that the LED lighting will fast blinking (Fade in and out with different light intensity) whenever there is motion or lifting over it. Not the normal fades in and out when idle.

Is that one of the design function purpose? Anyone finds it irritating? Any solution to remove that feature?

What mousepad are you using? You try surface calibration.

I am using chapalang mousepad which I feel comfortable with. I have unpick the surface calibration option then it solved the LED flickering issue. How does the surface calibration works? It has no difference to me when I am adjusting the value. rclxub.gif

My new loots today: Razer Ornata Chroma & Death Adder Elite.

Attached Image

For Ornata Chroma:

- Very very good typing feedback, very very satisfying feel. (Previously own oldest model of black widow ultimate)
- Love the wrist rest!

- The key surface material feels like the old school rubber, which I super worry it will turn sticky in future, then I can go bang my head...

Is this significantly cheaper than if you were to buy those separately from Razer?

It's not RGB. Its only red led. The only significant difference is the side buttons are in red. There's a taipan that has 3 changeable led colour like the deathadder bundled with cynosa. Here's a link to it: Taipan Tri Colour

Not really any much of a big difference. But I got shipping for free. Both cost me a total of China Yuan 1598. About RM950.

no offence, but if bought it locally you can get it around RM700. RM900 you can buy Blackwidow Chroma(RGB) + Deathadder Chroma(RGB) already.

looks very interesting.. tri colour quite good actually but that 'gaming' design is a bit let down doh.gif .. i always love razer minimalistic sleek looking design.. that aggressive design make it looks like a cheap rm30 'gaming' mice.. and also that version seems like a downgrade to the original taipan.. haiz just need to be patience a bit more.. i got a dream that ming will bring it out next year biggrin.gif

I do know that but there isn't this edition available here locally. I already had most if not all the products available in the local market except some never models that's is still newly released.

Yes this is a downgrade version like the deathadder combo with cynosa. It's meant to hv a lower dpi. Yes indeed the aggressive and flashy design is a little off from their usual minimal design. But it was meant for China market so probably there's a demand for it.

Replacement shipped already quite quickly after I chat with the amazon support. They use DHL. Parcel box not tampered. Only the nabu box seal was open. Other items arrived in the parce so it wasn't that bad.
