I downloaded benchmark and created over 10 characters, one for each race and gender except lalafell.
In the benchmark, I can only see less than 5 sets of armors, such as Race Specific, lv20, 30, 40, 50 & Artifact gear.
Plus, I can't change job so I can only see Paladin's armor...

Oh my gawd wait a second...are you telling me if I level from 1 to 50 and end-game (I assume AF gear is end-game?), I only have that few sets of armors??!!! Seriously? That would be too few variety...

FFXIV had 1.0 for a year, and even ARR had 3 phases of beta.
For Aion & Tera, there are plenty of sites showing galleries of armors even before the game reached Open Beta.
I would expect much faster for FFXIV, one of the most popular game series of all time.

If you mean the 7th Umbral Era story line, no, you wont be able to be part of that history anymore.

For switch race, there is a thing called The Veteran rewards, your first subscription of 30 days will be given a Phial of Fantasia, it enables a user to recreate your race choice, and gender etc.

Hey guys, I am still thinking to get this game or not. Seeing the thread goes until v8 I think it should be a good game @_@

Having said that, just wanna confirm some details before i purchase the game as the gameplay videos are REALLY limited.

1) First of, is this a fast paced game or slow ? Gameplay in GW2 is considered super snail for me and i hate exploring for hourss. I played Blade and soul & Granado Espada, these are a little bit fast paced game (in terms of movement, battle action, everything) to me and I liked them.

2) I heard Final Fantasy online games are kinda easier to get fully equipped is that true? Most of your play time revolves around raiding dungeon or grinding mobs for levels? or just keep raiding the same dungeon until u level up to proceed to next dungeon (like Dragon Nest)

3) How is the battle like? is it just like any other games - See the mob, whack, kill, proceed to next mob, or ??

any region, the game is region free, only the account billing and expansion is region lock. So if you buy EU version, you have to register an EU account. Make sure to use UK as country to pay in GBP. is the cheapest as of now.

My finding: My ping to NA/EU server is higher than my ping to JP server, yet it was stated "Excellent" above the NA/EU servers list and "Good" on JP servers list.
