i took rooney for checkup today. i thought he's having a fever.. but the vet set he's not

dog's normal temp is 39c n human is 37c

rooney lately having tummy problem.. so the vet gave him some digestion pill n antibiotic.

Shu (my GR name) is very naughty and playful. He has a very curious nature - very "8" and like follow everyone around the house.
He is very food oriented and treats every object he found as food - chew and swallow (stone, grass, tissue paper)
Favourite hideout - under my bed. That's where I can find my sis' slippers most of the time!

Shu got very thin also - but because he sneaked into my brother's room and secretly swallowed a 10 cent coin found on the floor. He vomited for one whole day and was under medication for 1 week. Lost his appetite and weight immediately. Luckily he vomited the 10 cent coin out - that's how we found the cause. So now, we have to check the floor constantly and keep a close eye on him all the time. (he still likes to swallow things he found if can)

Now look better but still on the thin side - hehe

hi hi.....ur shu really cute!!! heheheh....but at least he is not as thin as rooney...can i ask you what type of kibbles you are giving shu ?? im giving nutrisource for rooney, only he starts to eat but not much.

I am feeding shu Nutriedge stage 1 for puppy now.
Before Nutriedge, he also take California Natural puppy and Nutro for large breed puppy.

CN - smell nice, but shu keep having soft poo so I change it to Nutro

Nutro - not as nice smell as CN, but shu like it and his poo is more firm (easier to pick). Downside is the feeding is much larger than CN and he tends to poo all the time until my family complain

Nutriedge - smell nicer than Nutro. Shu is very enthusiatic about it (lots of tail wagging, barking and jumping). The kibbles size is very small so he tends to swallow instead of chewing first and finish them very fast - hehe.

Not sure if this works for rooney - since I am also taking care of a puppy for first time. For shu, i do give him hard boil egg once in a while as treat, which i mash and mix with his kibbles. With the egg, I notice he will finish his kibbles even faster and will lick his bowl very clean.
