I'm sure your dog wouldn't want you to be sad. Think of the happy times that you've shared with your GR. At least your dog is lucky to be able to spend 8 happy years with you compare to those dogs that are abandoned. You should be happy to know that you've given your dog a good life.

Give it some time, you'll feel lonely without Bengie for now but as time passes, it wouldn't feel that bad. Maybe you'll be thinking and laughing about the great moments that the both of you shared after a while.

It's normal to cry.. Try looking through some old pictures of Bengie, maybe you'll come across some pictures that will make you smile and laugh instead.

Feel free to share with us some of your pictures and experiences with Bengie.

Wow. You're lucky your dad bought for you a puppy. I had to save up all my money to buy my own GR.
GRs are so adorable. ^^

Haha. Yeah, GR was the first dog I've fallen in love with. Am still very much in love with GRs now.
Sadly my first GR was let out for a walk one day and never returned. I was around 9 years old then. I'm still a little sad whenever I think about my old GR.

Really? Luckily he was ok. You usually to roam outside alone?

At least he came back to you, even though he was injured.
Prince (my old GR) ran out when my mum forgotten to close the gate. He never returned then. I suspect he was stolen by someone else.

It's alright. At least after 10 years, I'm finally able to buy my own GR. ^^

Don't replace Bengie. But take your own time, if you feel like getting a new dog then just get one. The new pup should not replace Bengie, but instead create another new set of memories for you.

Take your time ler. Don't have to rush into anything. Heh. It took me 10 years to finally get a GR eversince my Prince went missing.

Quite I guess. I'm using most of my CNY money to purchase Chansey (my soon-to-be-GR) and items for her. Gonna be broke soon. >.<
Perhaps he might just visit you in your dreams. Cross your fingers and hope kay?

Yup! I got little Chansey already.
She's so lovely and active. And pretty obedient sometimes.
