My experience with Limrolando, I had two bookings with him few months back.

First booking was a 3 night stay in BKK, in August. Banked in around little less than rm700 and he said he will give me the voucher 3 days later. 3 days later he forwarded a confirmation email to me from Venere.com. No payment information there but only my name on the booking with his email, and a Venere.com booking number, and emailed the hotel immediately after that to reconfirm my booking and it was confirmed and a booking number was given to me by the hotel.

I have just emailed the hotel again, hopefully nothing goes wrong as I read some bookings got canceled due to financial dispute.

Second booking was a last minute one booked the night before for a one night stay in Holiday Inn Siam in Bangkok. The deal was done circa 11pm the night before I was supposed to check in. He told to just show up at the hotel the next day to check in and whatsapp him if there were any problems. At that time he had good feedback so I just went without hesitating, check in was smooth the next day.

That's my only two experience with limrolando, it will be sad if he's a con. Anyhow I have emailed the hotel again for a confirmation on my august booking. Hopefully everything still there.

Well, the full stories is something like this. I surf through LYN Bangkok Thread and i saw him promoting that he able to get a cheaper hotel. And i saw most of them eventually say he's a nice guy. So i pm him, apparently he's a pretty nice guy, he give me some guidance of where to travel in Bangkok. I actually stated that i worried if anything goes wrong, he said and i quote

"Yes you can pay after check in but the price will be higher than this , you can check my thread , I never fail any of my customer on proceed to check in . So hotel not valid is a no in my dictionary "

So i proceed to make payment to him, it's like 1 - 2 weeks back and he say will come email me the voucher 3 days later. So after 3 days i asked him about it, he said this week, until i come across and realize someone lodge a complain about him. I whatsapp him, as usual but he seem like not appearing online since yesterday.

I'm not sure what i should do? should i call the hotel that i request?

Woah! I nearly book hotel from him for staying 4 nights in HK but in the end I canceled it because I still have doubt to bank in rm2k to stranger even though I pm-ed few forumer and ask them if he is genuine seller and all of them gave positive feedback. He is really good to gain trust from forumer at first and then only start his scamming. I'm really glad that I decided to book directly from the hotel. So sorry to hear for those who had been scammed or soon to be scam by him.

Just go through any reputable website where you can travel with peace of mind. Don't let those few % discount spoile your entire holiday plan. It makes no different by saving a few % ending up losing more. Hope all will get this scammer to return all the $ soon.

Sigh, lesson learned. Hopefully it's all a misunderstanding

I have same experience like you. His rates was cheapest but I think twice before made advance payment booking with people. The way he whatsapp me very weird. At last I rejected his offer and now I feel lucky that I save 8k for the transaction.

It seems so far this guy committed credit card payment frauds by making an actual transaction payment then in-turn dispute a chargeback, it's an Chargeback fraud.

His rates seems too good to be true most obviously because he did not have to pay a single cent for the fraudulent transactions thus earning 100% profit from his scam.
