Filco keyboard it is
*
+1

Look like a filco, but the case color a bit weird IMO, custom case? Also, a custom braided cable mod.

Btw, the caps are most probably thick dye-sub by imsto.

not for budget mech keys though, those are attached

Not for budget keyboard? What weed you being smoking? Just kidding... Most of the budget board are detachable USB, while premium board like filco isn't.

For some reason, I still more inclined to recommend the non backlit rosewill rk9000.

Atually to be frank, mech keyboards cant be defined as budget laugh.gif

But why Rosewill RK9100? I heard theres some space issues with certain keys (spacebar)
Its for the bling bling factor biggrin.gif
*
we recommend the non backlit rk9000, not rk9100

I see.. hmm.gif

May i know why?
*
RK9000 is basically a clone of filco, but with a greater value, features and lower price tag.

For rk9100, it isn't that it is bad or what but the weird layout + less known OEM suggest us to stay with rk9000.

大键位
But normally simply type kbc pbt or pbt键帽 for more result since not often they put up the terms 大键位.

Brown and red switches, which is better than for gaming?
*
Depend on whether you are the type of ppl that prefer tactile feedback or linear.

If you are unsure of what tactile means, it means you suddenly feel a bump as you press, while linear is no bump.

Then again, not going to shop and poke, how are you going to know how each switches feels and sounds? Youtube doesn't justify anything until you get the real thing.

Thanks a lot for your opinions. rclxms.gif
I found out red switched only need little force to press it compared to brown switches.
Not need to press until the bottom.
*
In fact all Cherry MX switches need not fully pressed 4mm for registering. They register at an average of 2mm.

Yup, I will definitely try those switches out when i'm back to kch on september. I wonder if those shops have mech keyboards or not, will try ask my frens to search if they went to pc shops  tongue.gif .
I'm gaming and typing quite frequently, for dota2 assignments, reports etc.

Currently using logitech ultra flat keyboard dark shine, already too get used this layout because it is smaller and slimmer but same functions as a full size with numkeys.
user posted image
Any idea which brands have this type of mech keyboard layout?
*
Market available boards, there's are 2, but their dont have dedicated cursor keys, but intergrated into the numpad.
Namely Plum96 and QFTK. QFTK sounds like a perfect board but sadly the odd modifier and spacebar size ruined it.

I opted for plum96 due to earlier availability, wireless and bla bla bla different from QFTK.

Yea, both Plum96 & TK integrated cursors to the numpad.
So it means we need to hold fn key to use the cursors on numpad or only press once to switch that mode
?
It is always convenient to use right ctrl key + cursor to forward or backward in media player classic by one hand only tongue.gif .

Odd modifier? Means after market keycaps won't fit TK o.o?

**Sorry for many questions hehe.
*
Using numlock on or off. Once pressed switch between numpad or unction and cursor keys. For plum, you can also use fn+wasd for cursors.

Ctrl+cursor? Easy no problem than normal boards.

Yar QFTK is different modifiers and spacebar from normal keyboards.

Stupid me  doh.gif , forgot that disable numpad will allow them became cursors and other function keys like page up/down. Now problems solved for typical layout that i needed.
CM Storm doesn't sense the big market available for custom keycaps  sweat.gif , sigh other keycaps won't fit TK make me suffer try to hunt other keyboard with same layout.
So, only plum96 able to fit other keycaps modifier nicely?
*
Roccat, Corsair, Logitech and CM Storm : "I use weird layout, you blow? Trollface.jpg"

Razer :"ada kau Keisha? I put snakehead logo and it is instant sold what?"

Btw, plum using weird spacebar stems position too.

Mind take off the spacebar? We not sure what spacing it is using, but most probably akind to ducky zero.
