I think most ori batteries have metal wrapping. That fella's midland battery could be just as fake.

Hi Fulat, what u mean is my handphone's battery is not come together with my handphone? I bought my handphone on 03 June So, I suppose to get a battery with 06W23?

Your battery should be at least manufactured in year 2006. The week, should be a few weeks before/after the released date. I believe your battery had been replaced.

Any opinion? I will charge it 8 hours for the first time, then hopefully it will last at least 3 days. smile.gif

Bro, it looks authentic to me. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Mine can last 3 days also. Play play a bit of each, mostly mp3.

oic, what a bad luck of you. anyway, i think it's useless for you to go back the shop to ask for a change again. straight go to service centre to repair, just need some $$$ lo. hopefully your hp can "recover" soon.
*
Well according to one of the Service Center technicians, w810i firmware still not stable. Therefore, the battery issue maybe caused my the firmware itself.

Hi calvin, so what u mean is currently the firmware stil unstable so don;t need rush for repair and wait until it is stable first?

TY.

Well, there isn't any new firmware releases recently. However, just check with the SC to see what they can do.

Anywone even bother reading what I wrote? There are like 5 people here now with those supposedly 'fake' Midland batteries.

The way I look at it, that is a bit too much of fake batteries going around in Midland phones.

I think it is more like the difference between Korea production and China production batteries.

Yeah, some shops con buyers even if it's a midland set, they change their batteries, and change replace with a midlands hologram sticker.

Actually, after coming across my friends who recently bought original K750i and w800i, their battery is just like fake one, but with midland hologram stickers.

I think the trend has changed.

I think now there is no way to tell whether one is real or fake.
