Your screen brightness is set to auto? And what is the level?
Mine is medium brightness (auto disabled).

Yeah could be. I sometimes run heavy app, games especially - Beach Buggy Blitz, Dead Trigger, and now my favourite pastime multiplayer game with my son - Arcane Legends
The thing about Arcane Legends - if I use stock battery, my S3 will deplete faster than my Sony Xperia Play. That phone is really meant for gaming - other phone if use game sure drain fast. Including the S3.

But of course graphic wise and fluidity the S3 wins lor hands down

In UltimaROM there's Trickster MOD which you can set CPU.
My Min default to 200Mhz and Max is 1.4Ghz. Using pegasusq governor.

It's all come down to how much interest you have with it. For me my interest is with phone, gaming, RC stuffs, and some others. Sometimes when I get bored with one thing I move to my other interest for a while. This way won't overburn myself lor..

I use multiwindow a lot, sometimes when do online banking I have to refer to some pictures (snapped bills) or some notes - while switching between apps works, 'sometimes' it kills my browser and I have to redo everything again.

Have anyone tried Fantasy HD ROM? I tried flashing but stuck in boot, saw many more got stuck too so I'm guessing there's a bug in latest release.

Maybe your flashaholic became worst with S3 because it flash and loads new ROM so fast and easy.. hehe..
I was flashing phones since I used a Palm Treo and Windows Mobile 5 .. that time where got touch recovery and all.. so much work to do, now its all easy as installing windows with GUI

I myself flashed around 3 to 4 ROMs in a week.. hehe.. in the end reverted back to UltimaROM. But many ppl said Revolution HD is the best. So... another flash later maybe

wahaha I too tried flashing my wife Sony k750i (a non smart phone) but ended up soft bricking it..
not enough support for non smartphone those days so had to send to SC (hospital jugak la this case haha)

Test using Samsung charger diff cables, diff cables diff charger.. you know.. all those variants. Switch2 and try.
I was getting 400 to max 600 on my stock charger with stock cable. It's written on Samsung stock charger 1A = 1000mA. So I used another branded cable (lenovo) and mate it with my Samsung charger.

Then I was getting constant 1000, 999, 1000. Everytime!

Our s3 draws a LOT of power, anything between 400 to 800mA. So (example) if you are charging at 600mA and your phone consume 400mA, there is a lot of wait time to fully charge. Heh.. I remembered my HD2 running on Android dulu dulu... consume around 4mA saja.. and around 7-18mA with data / 3g on. hehehe..

As XeactorZ said, get a good charger la - note2 charger perhaps, 2A output. The S3 should limit it to 1A.

he he he yea 750 can flash, true. Camera mod. But failed attempt... after that wife marah aldy then i only flash my own phone. Nowdays I buy phone then use it myself around a week, after kaw kaw play and flash, then only give to her

Because I am using UltimaROM and before that I came from stock ROM.
Just bought a OTG cable the other day and it failed to detect my microSD card plugged to my card reader.
A forumer on XDA told me that my Kernel doesn't support NTFS??
I can use OTG without issues on stock ROM, not sure if it's the kernel / ROM / software issue or if it's the hardware (OTG) cable issue...

Any ideas guys?

Easiest way is to try another OTG cable or flash back stock rom and see if it works tho...

Right now I don't even know what kernel I am on. Nandroid backup will back up kernel as well right?
Gotta check what kernel I choose when install UltimaROM, there was a handful of kernels to choose I just use the default...

Yeah my card is NTFS. Will try format to FAT32 and try again later.. if that oso doesn't work there's something wrong somewhere then.. (hope not the OTG cable .. hassle to exchange haihhhh).

I was running good on stock ROM.. u see, this is one of the challenges when use custom ROM one thing doesn't work, a hundred more does hahahah..

Was in a hurry to fly my RC copter and record, I just slot the microsd card in and format..
then only realize.. heheh.. now have to flash stock ROM again, not that much work but restoring nandoird backup is much faster.

UltimaROM can be stock alike if you want, it just have the option to choose something else rather than stock.
I'm using Apex launcher over touchwiz. Then there is inverted theme (black background) for youtube, google play, and some other app (can choose stock if you want too). Er what else.. all app multiwindow for sure.. then can choose what camera app you want stock or s4 and some other choices.. I love the stock cam so I stick with it.

Only the one that you choose during ROM installation will be there. The rest will not be available and stay in zip.

That's the good thing I like about UltimaROM. It's not that once you flash everything is there in ROM. You choose what to flash

Really? Show me a sample.. youtube it if possible.. I used quite a number of china android phones before, nothing beats S3 yet. Especially the web browsing part, S3 is just silky smooth.

Guys, an update to my OTG cable that doesn't recognize my microSD via cardreader. I just noticed my card is on FAT32 all this time. So I tried connecting other pheripherals usb mouse keyboard but nothing works. It just said USB connector connected or something like that... (means it only recognize the USB OTG cable, but anything that connects to it failed to detect). It does power whatever connected tho.. I have also flashed stock 4.1.2 ROM and same thing..

have a feeling the OTG cable spoilt.. sigh.. malas mau go back to shop and exchange
