Guys, in regards to the OTG not recognizing my microSD via card reader running UltimaROM : Case confirmed it's a hardware (OTG cable) issue. Went back to seller and tested another OTG cable, upon connect it launches 'My Files' like stock ROM did - and everything else was smooth sailing after that. Glad it's not a kernel issue.

There is one thing to do, say bye bye..
If it's on MicroSD card probably can still salvage some leftovers, as long the place that hold the original data has not been overwritten with something else. Then again, still can't guarantee of 100% recovery.

That's what happen when you flash ROM and not doing any backup before hand.. I myself kena already few times. Nowdays if kena just laugh and point finger at self so clever didn't backup

Just treat it as gone ler.. next time make sure do backup. There is a saying, if you don't backup, prepare to lose it

Then your internal memory is corrupted. If it's still under warranty better bring to SC to check.
You can always check this yourself as well if the issue reoccurs.
If it's not corrupted, maybe some 3rd party app (security app possibly) have messed with your internal files.
Can you still use the phone as normal?
I suggest a factory reset to start up fresh again.

Digi got excellent customer service - note that I said 'excellent'.
Celcom Maxis got ok customer service while Umobile is the 'WORST' one of all.

Reception is still terrible at my place, even at my kampung.. before I got H all the time, then time pass by
and now it changes sometimes E sometimes 3G/H speed is also not consistence.. (remember the time their ad "at DIGI consistency rules" or something - BAH, you can't find it anymore).

Try Revolution HD (search in XDA, also available @ first page of this thread i think). I tried it.. feels very stockish.. I'm not a stock person, so I wanted all app multi window and it's not there, call record and it's not there.. so around 5 minutes tinker with it I reverted back to my UltimaROM. Can't beat Revolution HD on battery life but hey, you can't have all in one right

Go to settings - display and Check your 'screen mode'.

glad you found and fixed it. Hope you enjoy Revolution HD. I tried to but as I needed more functionality out of the box, that ROM is too stockish for me

At the moment I am using stock battery again with UltimaROM, getting around 15hrs usage with 2hrs 26m SOT. My extended battery which printed as 4600mah (I think) and I believe rated @ 3000mah, can only last me a bit longer than that...

So verdict if you want more power don't settle anything less than Zerolemon 7000mah too bad I didn't found Zerolemon first when I bought the extended battery.

Using rootappdelete and deleting your internal app will only free up more internal storage memory.
It has nothing to do with RAM.
Android is smart enough to auto allocate memory based on running and background apps, no need to worry about it. Don't treat it like Windows.

Are you looking for the same size battery or extended (bigger mah)?
If extended just get zerolemon, value for money. Will last you for days of heavy usage.

That would be the best way. With custom ROM (some) have different kernels that will greatly effect speed and memory management. Now you have to choose either to flash custom stock a like ROM or AOSP or something else.. check the first thread.

Another thing, in regards to battery life - my experience with stock ROM has been great. When switch to custom ROM speed increased and I have more features but battery life not as good as before. I'm using UltimaROM now. Famous is wanamlite / Revolution HD and some other more you can check few pages back.

Anyway I heard wanamlite is good and gaining popularity here recently hehe.. I personally using UltimaROM because of it's gooding features.
