very very rarely will get the "cant connect to camera" error, where you need to do a reboot to fix it
but just use the "restart camera app" to instantly make the camera usable again.

other than this camera bug, slimbean 4.2 is consider bug free for me.

these apps can be frozen, or deleted if you have root access.

if unrooted, go settings>apps, and see wether you can disable them or not

for google maps, go into its settings, and disable location reporting

all aosp rom no exfat support.
whats the big deal? format your sd card to fat32

i highly recomend flash slimbean build 8 stable version, instead of cm10.1.3 stable.

CM is 168MB and need download another Gapps that is 87MB
slimbean is just 92.6MB inclusive of gapps already.

slimbean have all of CM features, and some customization from aokp.
both rom are identical in terms of stability and smoothness.

cyanogen mod is very stable. there is no such issue like you said.
you never factory reset when flash rom? or you use titanium backup to restore system apps? or you flash the wrong Gapps? there are different gapps for 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3

slimbean icons small? slimbean 4.3 rom comes with custom dpi, set it back to 320 if you dont like.

i was using slimbean 4.2

i tried slimbean 4.3 but feel many stutter and random lags, not as consistent as 4.2

tried cyanogenmod 10.1, similarly smooth as slimbean, but lacking alot features.
tried cyanogenmod 10.2, again there are some random lags, the browser is so laggy when scrolling, and the camera animation when swipe to gallery always lags. cant stand it.

so finally use back slimbean 4.2

android 4.3 generally not yet optimized for s3 by developers.
probably when 4.4 is out, then only 4.3 will be smooth and issue free like current 4.2 roms.

It's the system app, the default launcher in slimbean

Slimbean is great. The 4.2 one.

4.3 one is based on cm.
Cm itself also not yet stable and bug free, Slimbean will have more bugs due to its added feature. Such as expand desktop not working. Screenshot sometimes fail to save.

4.2 and 4.3 is identical in appearance and system animations. Totally cnt tell the difference unless go into about phone to check.

Main annoyance with 4.3 is the frequent lag that makes me feel like ics only.

U try 4.3 and see for yourself.
