Some news:
iOS 7 CONFUSES BABIES......... Do babies prefer iOS 6 over iOS 7? http://www.phonearena.com/news/Do-babies-p...r-iOS-7_id44977 Some comments: 2. andro. posted on 9 hours ago 9 Having seen and used an iPhone with a beta version of iOS 7 (perhaps fake but exactly similar) on it I have to say only teen girls will like it. Way to much pinks and purples. Even some of my fellow staff who fond of iOS did not like it. 14. DaNTRoN posted on 8 hours ago Trainers here complain about iOS7. now I won't say where I work but trust me, these are the top people with top knowledge of Apple and they are all Apple users, all complain about ios7. Sure they like the paralax wallpaper, which I enjoy on my n4, but all of them complain about how it hurts battery, which is no issue on n4. 45. Rukus505 posted on 31 min ago Actually, Apple is at a point in their success where they need to target a specific market. Making one product that fits everyone's needs or wants, is self destructive, you can't please everybody. Apples "mainstream" market seems to be slowly evolving to early teens to young adults. Afterall, it's this age group that drives advertising and marketing in America for "mainstream" corporations. This age group has their parents money at their disposal. Smart move by Apple financially, but at the cost of losing some of their aging, loyal, die hard customers. This is the age group that drives Apple's sales, of late; this is the age group that Apple will cater to in the end. After all, what middle aged man gets excited over another phone, it's materialistic. Conversely, how many teens get excited over the next shiny new phone...all of them. Target the new crop of Apple loyalists, not the aging. iOS7 and 8 and 9 will continue to target kids, and you, jedi, no offense, are not the customer Apple is looking for. |

QUOTE(55665566 @ Jul 7 2013, 03:36 PM) Naked you mean by no casing? Samsung service center. At least u maintain warranty if yours is an SME set. The flip cover is not a case and provides no real protection. No, im using casing btw but during the drop, my casing is opened (flip case).. Edit: repair by you? Where is your location? |

QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Jul 7 2013, 05:24 PM) I know shops in SG that fixes Note 2 screens for SGD180 (provided the LCD is still in a working condition) Isn't SGD 180 about RM 500? Just for the screen glass? The glass is available for less than USD 20.============================ Anyone knows how to download all pictures from Google+'s camera sync http://www.ebay.com/bhp/galaxy-note-2-screen-replacement This can be replaced with lots of care if the LCD and digitizer still work, however quite a number of youtube videos and DIY shots have shown that the workmanship does leave much to be desired, due to the adhesive residue all around the edges. The entire screen assembly (glass, LCD, digitizer) is available for about USD 200, which is in line with the replacement charge here in MY. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/galaxy-note-2-digitizer About G+, they updated the functionality for pics about a week or 2 ago, but not sure if they have bulk download. On the phone the G+ functionality is less than on the desktop browser. Seems like you need to go into each album and click Select then Download. |

Cuz amoled , samoled , etc , their digitizer and the glass comes in a set for ori . You can get glass replacement but shops dont have the glue used to hold the glass together with the digitizer . Normal glue is not strong enough and after a while , the glass will slowly get peeled off from the digitizer . I encounter the problem twice , both times from SME as i made a claim for my screen with dead pixel . They only replace my LCD while using back my digitizer n screen . After a while , screen starts to peel off . Have 2 go back the 2nd time============================ Anyone knows how to download all pictures from Google+'s camera sync This post has been edited by Noobi3: Jul 7 2013, 05:52 PM |

AFAIK the broken glass + working LCD worth about SGD100 |

Hello. I am one of the earliest owner of SGN 2 bought in Oct 2012 AP set. I flashed and flashed till I got bored.
I have a problem and I badly need your help. My phone was on Hawkish Premium series DCMC3 rom. A week ago I suddenly could not connect to my maxis carrier . it says no sim and can make emergency call only. My sim is okay because it works on other phones. Sim cards of all other carriers work on my SGN 2 EXCEPT maxis sim cards. I dialled *#06# and my imei is intact and corresponds to my imei at the back of the phone. I called maxis to find out if my phone is blocked and the CS said it is not and they tried resetting the line from their side . Of course it did not work. I gave back to my AP service centre and the technician is a little confused . UNFORTUNATELY he flashed DME6 rom. As I needed my phone back over the weekend I took back back my phone and used u mobile sim card. Its working well. Now I'm toying over the idea of restoring my efs. I searched my phone and to my disappointment I only have efsbackup.tar.gz file. I dont have a .img file. On my settings>more settings> mobile networks> network operators there are u mobile, digi and celcom carriers. There is no MY Maxis Could the efs be corrupted? Only maxis is not working. Or could maxis have blocked my imei from registering with it's network? What can I do now? Is it possible to restore efs with only the .tar file?
