Bump. I need some opinion b4 I place my order. Im not sure if the Jap version will have English text or not.

I think the JP version is english voice, jap subs. Not sure about the menu though.

Just saw the Jap version on PA, language says English/Japanese.

Spoke to Djinn the other day, he said some supplier got exclusive distribution rights so the price will be expensive.

He mentioned a figure of RM300 and above...goreng harga like mad man..hopefully its jst rumours

huh!? exclusive rights?? u mean sgp suppliers right?? wonder what version they'll sell officially at sgp shops. weird ler they try to goreng this game. they sold GeOW Asian edition (guaranteed hit) at reasonable price & got decent sales, why risk such a daring tactic on Lost Planet (not a guaranteed hit)!? maybe RM300 is the LE with tin case + goodies?

Well I jst had a short chat with Djinn but didn't seem to be the LE version..

I dont think GoW gave any exclusive rights to distribute the game. All the suppliers could order it in. For Lost Planet, I think only one guy can distribute it. Thats what I understood anyway.

aiyoh, it means in sgp, game distribution rights are sold to the highest bidder ler. sgp just as boleh as us!?

maybe capcom asia office is money-crazy. but they release ps2 RE4 asian version at reasonable price + LE at HK wor. maybe bulk terus from jpn ler, got a few forumers studying in jpn, right?

Well some companies do try to order in huge amounts and then demand exclusive distribution rights for a certain region.

Probably doesn't cover Japan and Hong Kong. Only South East Asia?

And for Capcom, it is like the same money and lesser hassle in dealing with so many different suppliers.

to be fair, the JPN release has a MSRP of ￥ 8,379, making it a very expensive game buying direct fr jpn. P-A and YesAsia also selling it at high price. guess have to wait for US release & pray for a miracle.

Yeah, saw the pricing at Play-Asia, it is priced higher than the other games. Just like Dead Rising I guess.
