Finally got to play my copy of Lost Planet last night after two straight days of work and must admit i feel kinda let down by it...

It looks HORRIBLE (not really, just doesn't look as good as GOW)...

Like the VS but that's about it...

Sigh, will be heading to the Pasar Malam thread soon...
Should have gotten R6 Vegas instead...

Yeah i know what you mean.. it looks so much smaller and graphic texture of the characters look crappy like ps2 hehehe
at lease the background scenery and the monsters look decent..
ohh well.. its still a game i need to play soon!

Hell! I love this game so much! Both the single player and the multiplayer rocks!

For the single player, i managed to get through the 1st Mission on Extreme difficulty. Truly to fight the last boss without using a VS and coupled with extra Akrids is freakin impossible but then once you get used to the boss' moves, its pretty easy. I managed to kill it with about 1000 T-ENG left and i started fighting it with 1000 T-ENG also.

For the multiplayer, its really fun to be able to use all types of VS in it and thanks to the data post, there is sufficient energy to use the VS for a pretty long time. However, the best weapon would not be a VS but something else more dreadful than a VS

Personally I tot the graphics was not too bad. And the gameplay is different from other shooters with the introduction of VS. Multiplayer not bad as well. Too bad not many here plays MP. The last time we had a 16 local MP game was awesome and chaotic.

Extreme difficulty is really crazy, The boss is already hard to kill coupled wiv minions...... I'm now stuck at level 2 boss. 2 minion VS thats dam hard to kill and the boss kept jumping up and stomp @ u. DARRNNNNN....

well.. lets gather 16 player and hav a mp party tomolo night ok a not??

why not make it tonight around 9.00 pm ? yea or nay?

Wao! Had a terrific game last night with a few players from SG as well as local. Managed to taste a minimum of 4v4 players, it was total chaos with VS all the place and the frustrating energy balls. But then i love it when my teammates together "ninja hook" to some area which was like some hidden ninja clan but minus those katanas and ninja robe

The energy gun is so damn cheating. Whenever you're in a VS and got shot by a fully charged energy ball you will just automatically eject out of your VS. Didnt get to taste the full potential of certain VS that way but overall enjoyed every moment of it.

Looking forward to playing it again tonight !!

Edited: By the way, for those who want a taste of a total havoc on multiplayer, feel free to add me your friend list so that i can invite you guys in.

Added on February 1, 2007, 10:27 pmFinally destroyed that damn VS Boss of Mission 02. Took me couple of tries though because in Extreme, there is no VS and you only start with 1000 T-ENG at the start of the battle.

LoL. 20 million development!? another 20 million promotion!? selling 1 miliion copies at 60bucks is not exactly profitable why not spare some coins and print an asian (cheaper) version?

well at least the SP demo was helpful in telling me i suck bad at this game (i'll buy it when its cheaper )
