haha...to be fair savvy has almost same weight with Myvi has less engine engine displacement, and the DOHC has advantage at top speed, what do you expect..maybe you can pawn him in a 100m drag but lose out in a quater mile race...so means you won the pickup race till after some distance? not bad la..

acceleration was GOOD. just that he manage to catch up really fast which creep me out since i was leading by 1 full length bus. tongue.gif

Don't scare me like that ler!! sweat.gif

Anyway, SMSed my SA today, replied something about waiting for Custom to feedback to Bank and Insurance before can register?? Why does it needs Custom pulak? I thought this is made in Malaysia car!!!  blink.gif

oh shi-

it's a conspiracy, the savvy is china made!!! ph34r.gif

haha.. j/k

anyways, i don't remember anything about custom giving feedback to bank and insurance. the loan is passed and HnP signed, registering and delivery should be swift.

QUOTE(peYno @ Aug 14 2007, 08:29 PM)
happy riding ..
If compared to Myvi, i was thinking savvy not suitable for long journey (4 adults) and good for city driving only.. it was a mistake.. good ala bucket seat design ,nice seat driving position (not  feel like driving a van ), very stable at high speed or highway speed(110~140km/h)-not feel like driving  a small car /other typical japs K-car.. it makes u  smiling while driving a savvy for long journey at hiway... believe me
*
the seats of the savvy is not bucket enough, IMHO (if compared to the neo laugh.gif tongue.gif )
and you also missed out engine noise. bearing a 1.15L displacement and a rather close gearbox, cruising beyond 3500 rpm can be a discomfort.

QUOTE(Matrix @ Aug 15 2007, 09:06 AM)
Long journey with 4 adults...can, but where to put luggage dude?? Extra space in a bigger car will come in extremely useful. Even the space in my Myvi is just enough only when i made some long journey a few months ago. For tall people, sit at the back(Savvy) sure leg cramp...i don't think i wanna sit behind in the Savvy for long journey. At least, with Myvi, i can sit behind comfortably with loads of leg rooms to spare...and my head not hitting ceiling. IMO, the savvy can only cater for 2 normal to tall person in front, 2 short person behind...otherwise, legs sure cramp.
*
traveling long journey doesn't mean have to carry luggage mah laugh.gif tongue.gif
you are right about carrying capacity though. myvi is a much bigger car compared to the savvy.

comparing savvy with a camry. sweat.gif

Ok, stop asking the stupid question before i go to test drive all the car, so pitty for me that even i am working in a workshop right now and no National Car in it(only italian car) Anyway, i prefer to ask question here than savoc.net as i am not very pro in my BM, hehe.  One more question anyone here planning to install power window at the rear door ???? if it is possible, in the furture time i will go to look for shop who is doing sunroof! open a wide wide roof top and let the sunshine to my head ! haha!

Another question, for did you change your audio system? is the original one can satisfy you enough ??

Ask again~~ Savvy got immobilizer or not ???
*
sorry bro, don't have

as for the question on sun roof, i'd suggest better not play a around with the chassis since it'll sure fail JPJ ruling and it might affect structural integrity of the car.

my sister's savvy ICE still stock standard.

Hopefully, Savvy's pw is okay. And Nel, i won't bother to install power window at the back ler. Hardly ever used at the back. 2 less power windows means 2 less potential problems...LOL.
*
LOL, very true indeed. ;D

btw, there's no auto down or auto up function. i'm not sure if the newer batch also the same thing or not. i know 1st gen savvy don't have.

Something really weird happened yesterday. as i was driving home from work in my sister's savvy. i was tailing this cefiro who's hogging the overtaking lane, so out of curiosity to see how fast he was going, i took a look at the speedometer only to noticed that the needle is dead at 0km/h!
but when i turn on the headlamps, the speedometer came back to live again and remained alive and working well even when i turn it off later.

this morning speedometer is working well too. so will not send to PESC for inspection. you know lah how mafan it is.

anyone owners faces the same situation before?
