So, I've on XZL for 3~4 weeks.

To compare in a nutshell with my previous phone:- Xperia Sola. You really get what you pay for. GPS locks almost instantly, so many apps I can run with 2GB of RAM!! Casual user (social apps/GPS/email/camera) here so don't have any nitpicks about the display/benchmarks lol.

Only issues so far:
1. WiFi reception is still crap (almost all Sony phones ... why ah). There was this time I was at this area, my phone keep on rebooting itself whenever the WiFi is on. Duno why ... weird as hell.
2. SIM tray rattling issue ... very noticable when I lay my phone flat on the table and tap on the softkeys. Should I send it in for service?

Overall a decent purchase. I got the phone c/w accessories for RM1350 from lelong.com. Saw some stores selling for RM1370 now lol. I'd recommend this phone if one don't have any nitpicks on the aesthetics/hardware specs.

1. my wifi is perfectly fine, what firmware are u on?
2. sim tray, dunno, cos my ZL is in a casemate tough. plus i turn off the vibration for touch unless for calls cos i find the vibration really irritating.

.244. The auto reboot thing occurred only at one specific place when I was traveling overseas ... Other than that no issues, by crap I meant the signal reception compared to phones from other manufacturers.

I turn off vibration too. I have a tendency to tap my phone rather than touch when it's lying flat on the table.

got any dropped connections?
i think its been mentioned before, that even tho it shows 1 bar or so, the reception is actually quite strong.
at least mine is when compared to my samsung...even tho the samsung shows 2-3 bars.

why not try ZR bro.. spec wise more powerful than ZL hehehe. price just over rm100 tongue.gif

how is ZR spec more powerful than ZL?
just need to ask yourself if you need the water / dust proof stuff of ZR...
or u prefer 1080p LCD, 2mp front facing camera, more internal storage of ZL...

Anyone got use flip case? Today I'm just used flip case for my zl. And do anyone know any apps can auto wake up by the flip case close/open. With using any sensor of phone?
*
i used flip case, but got irritated at it since most now open like a book so can rest it when watching movies etc, and i found it irritating when answering calls.
i still prefer traditional flip where it flips downwards...but those dont exist i think...so now im using casemate tough.
