This mod is for those receiver box door open from the left, in order to fit the cabin filter. Not for those open from the right. If you add on sponge for those receiver box door open from the right, chances are your cabin filter kenot fit whistling.gif

For me, the filter sound is understandable. I know I have a filter in there, the filtering sound is a lively proof of what they're doing whistling.gif Someone previously show DIY remove several fin and stapple them together, claim that remove the Eeeeeeeeee filtering sound. Rest assured, the filtration power has greatly reduced, hence no sound whistling.gif

Great Great idea, Bro YAB!! TQ! TQ! TQ! rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

Now where is that Daiso tape being sold? rclxub.gif icon_question.gif
5 Rgt shop? Eg Those @Tescos?? hmm.gif Will go see... tongue.gif

ps. Yup, final product is similar to Zamco brand which has only 3 sides with sponge tape but thinner...
Yr this simple DIY mod is definitely much much more cheaper... rolleyes.gif

So do also hv confidence in our Gagas not 2fail us as so miserably as many seemed 2hv imagined wld happen...
Ok, Bros?

Juz do watever yu feel wld make yu most happy with yr Gaga...
That's best way 2enjoy our Gagas...
Juz know that FEAR is our worst enemy!!

QUOTE(niterider @ Jul 18 2013, 08:49 AM)
just bought 5w-30 from shell and wonder whether our proton saga is suit to use this grade ? as due to it is lighter oil compared to 10w40 and may improve on FC
*
Hi & Good morning, Everybody!! notworthy.gif

Hi Bro niterider...

EOs fr xW30 to xW50 are all suitable for use in Gagas in our climate...
As long as the EO fulfills the SAE grades & API classifications...

However, as previously mentioned/posted, choice of EO shld b made rationally & with one knowing the consequences of one's choice & decision...

Thinner EOs allow better oil flow in cold conditions & an easier revving engine...
Thus there are claims of slightly lower FC...but feel kinda insignificant gains...butt dyno?

However, there's alwaz the other side of the coin...in long term & also depending on usage.
Higher wear & tear on all moving engine parts. whistling.gif

That's why most use xW40 which is the middle road...

So over2yu, Bro...
Yr car, yr $$$, yr choice, your decision...
As in everything in Life! rclxm9.gif

Most importantly, be Happy...enjoy yr Gaga!
cheers.gif

A far cry from ze ole days b4 HiCom-DRB takeover...and staff changes... rolleyes.gif

Hi Everybody! notworthy.gif

Hi Bro square90...

Yup, that's a very HIGHLY possibly true situation... whistling.gif

Practically almost everything in the market is from China...like it or not!
From foodstuff to electrical/electronic goods to cars...
Country of product might b from even Japan/Europe/USA/Ustralia....BUT see the fine print...
Made in China...Assembled in China...
Or juz plain Japan...meaning Made in China/Taiwan? rclxm9.gif
