Hi...
Juz 2clear the usual confusion abt EO suitable 4Gagas... Pls chk yr User Manual for range of SAE grades suitable...a wide range actually... As is, xW30 to xW50 are all suitable & within range for our country ambient temp... xW30? For those who prefer lil bit better FC & faster revs? Less protection 4moving parts tho... xW50? For those who dun mind slightly higher FC but provides better protection? xW40? Most SCs use this & most users, too. The middle road. As in everything in Life, any decision is a compromise... Yr pref...yr decision... Enjoy yr Gaga! Most important... |

QUOTE(ruby1288 @ Jul 9 2013, 10:30 AM) Very well true. . . . Yup, Bro... The conclusion is balance. . You gain one thing, you will lose out on the other. . End of the day, it goes down to your own butt and decision As long as one is happy with decision made based on one's prefs after rational considerations... ps. As a point of fact, my own Gaga User manual recommends 20W50...believe it!!! This post has been edited by zeone: Jul 9 2013, 10:35 AM |

QUOTE(king_lover23 @ Jul 9 2013, 09:40 PM) hi.. wanna ask also.. Hi Bro... plan to add tweeters on my dashboard... this can cause my warranty kena void? btw,i ady installed the auto lock function and double signal.. once open any door, double signal will turn on.. this also can cause warranty void? plz tell me.. worry ni... >< Re tweeters, if connections are done via tapping (cutting) into yr Audio Sys, then yr Audio Sys warranty is void oledi. If SC puts more into it, then they can void yr complete wiring sys... Re Auto Lock module, similarly yr Alarm Sys warranty wld b void & (if same thinking by SC) wiring sys, too... Frankly it depends on a few factors... 1. If yr car is >1 yr old, then makes no diff...cos no more warranty! 2. The SC where yu make the claim... Best wishes...& good luck! |

QUOTE(king_lover23 @ Jul 9 2013, 09:57 PM) cham... my autolock is plug n play unit.. but just simple wiring to add the tweeter will void the whole car warranty? Unless the installer juz push the cable into the socket? Then yu can remove it b4 send 4claim... Mainly Engine & Gearbox are covered by 3-yr warranty... Pls chk yr User Manual for details eg items covered for diff lengths of time... |

QUOTE(king_lover23 @ Jul 9 2013, 10:42 PM) hi!!!! thx for the reply!! we r the same! I faced all this situation b4.. no wonder i wondering,i just only unlock the door, then so fast it lock back.. >< My ABL also installed near rear boot there... As earlier mentioned by Bro dares (& me), claims very subjective...subject to many factors, mainly human ones altho in black & white it may b something else.. hmm... so u claim the front passenger central lock module, the sc din say anything or make noise? bcox u installed the ABL thingy? As alwaz, if worry/scared abt warranty issues, best rule of thumb is NOT to do anything to car till warranty period is over... Keep yr car in stock condition... |

QUOTE(ruby1288 @ Jul 10 2013, 12:42 PM) me OEM PnP type has a socket, a plug & 1 standalone cable...beyond standard, get the PnP version. not sure now de ABL look like how, but mine got 2 cable and 1 lubang in total. 1) The cable (I dono what cable is this but original it is connected direct to the alarm module) from the car masuk the ABL relay lubang. 2) 1 cable masuk rear brake lamp circuit to get power for the ABL relay. 3) 1 cable come out from ABL relay masuk back alarm module. Then finish liao. 10 min job. Steps: 1. Unplug plug fr Alarm module socket. 2. Attach ABL plug in2 that socket in Alarm unit. 3. Attach Alarm module plug in2 ABL socket. 4. Tap standalone cable to Rear Brake Lamp sys. That's it! All done @Boot LHS ONLY...no wires in2 car cabin nor fr car cabin wan. Use Alarm Reset button to Unlock doors... Hope abv a bit clearer... Best wishes... |
