That one is for spare parts purchased outside, regardless of genuine or not. As for the lubricant part, it covers all lubes, from brake fluid, radiator coolant, CVTF, MTF, PSF and engine oil. Usage of non Proton Edar SC approved lubes will effectively void the car warranty.

The whole point of that memo is, anything outside from SC = NO, anything from within the SC = YES.

The car warranty is given in intervals. Each time you service at Proton Edar SC, they will give a 6 months/10,000km warranty. The next time you service again, the 6months/10,000km restarts again. This works continuously till the 3rd/5th year of your warranty ends.
