QUOTE(widget @ Nov 23 2014, 10:24 AM) Which model? The Pistons 2.1 that I have definitely more than enough bass. This is coming for a JH Roxanne user I think I got a fake/malfunctioned 2.1 or the sound is not to my liking. Perhaps m40x even without eq or bass boost is already brimming with bass that it makes me think it's balanced. Is piston balanced in term of sound delivery because i feel like there's not enough output from the lower frequency range?

QUOTE(widget @ Nov 23 2014, 12:10 PM) Either your's is a fake/malfunction or you did not get a good seal with the stock tips. All the stock tips cannot make it and I ended up using Ortofon tips which happened to cost more than the Pistons itself. To me the 2.1 is tilted to bass-heavy IEM as the top end is rolled-off. Being a dynamic driver with a vented designed, I find them to have more bass than what I would have called neutral Wow. Im experiencing the opposite to what you've said. Gonna try with spare tips from lenovo iem (it came with the phone). If that doesnt work then i more might have to raise this issue with dealer. Thanks Add: it's the tip alright. I changed it then wah, it's boomy. It's a keeper now. Tyvm This post has been edited by PedangGila: Nov 23 2014, 01:16 PM
