QUOTE(soulfly @ May 11 2006, 06:00 PM) liquid metal is hype ler bro Liquid metal while performs better but still not recommended especially for those looking for less maintained setup. Furthermore heard that it's not compatible with non-copper hsf. Any less than copper will corrode and subsequently damage the hsf. To add to that, the application of the paste must be properly done, this is conductive substance so beware noobs.

QUOTE(soulfly @ May 11 2006, 08:13 PM) dont forget CPU IHS is made of Alu. AMD64 IHS is a solid copper with nickle plating AFAIK. Look before lap And after, no nickel plating anymore Nickel plate is there to protect the IHS from getting vegetable green disease (oh yuck) This post has been edited by PCcrazy: May 11 2006, 08:37 PM
