Liquid metal while performs better but still not recommended especially for those looking for less maintained setup. Furthermore heard that it's not compatible with non-copper hsf. Any less than copper will corrode and subsequently damage the hsf. To add to that, the application of the paste must be properly done, this is conductive substance so beware noobs. biggrin.gif

AMD64 IHS is a solid copper with nickle plating AFAIK.

Nickel plate is there to protect the IHS from getting vegetable green disease (oh yuck)
