Tried out UNO yesterday but I can't figure out how to play this card game even after reading the rules. Very confusing.

haiyah the challenge is very simple one... the wild draw four challenge is like this ah

1)lets say your turn is after mine..... and there is a red 1 on the table....
2)the i put down the wild draw four and change the color to blue
3)if you think i have a ref card which i could have put down instead or a number 1 card ..... and you challenge i will kena 6 cards
4)you guess wrong then you take 6 cards
5)if you don't challenge then you take only 4 cards

yeah the AI must've hated me real bad. played single house rule game after u guys went off, set penalty to 'progressive', the 3 AI thrashed me, stacked multiple draw 2's until i upside-down.

actually you can, but u only have ABXY and D-pad

Use the remote AND the gamepad, ala WiiMote.

sheesh...to me wii-mote is currently one of the best so far with sony and MS in a tie

hmmm,but i dont know...something in me says...go for the ps3 first and get wii after its gets cheaper by 40% LOL

and the wii graphics arent THAT great theyre not smooth enough its good for party and enjoyment but not for serious games and so on.its graphic is just slightly better than the previous XBOX

Ah... can't believe it, I can set the house rules so that it almost mimics the way I played Uno when I was in school! A round played with rules like this.. well.. it takes AGES to finish.. And everyone would become very well equiped to have fun... I tried playing the computer with these rules and.. I can't even finish a round!!! Takes forever man!

What is the purpose of the number on each card?

How do u change your card colour without using the color change spinner card ?

basically is like chor tai tee.... except you put down one card at a time and you will have to draw cards when you dont have the same color/number or if you kena a penalty...

1)you just need to match the same color/number
2)you use the wild card to change the color
3)you use the wild draw four card to change the color and make the next player take 4 cards
4)you use the draw two card to make the next player take 2 cards
5)you use the skip card to skip the next player's turn
6)you use the reverse card to change the direction of play

Wow.. there ARE people who never play uno before? Hey.. under Help And Options -> How To Play, the rules are all there man!

Important thing to know about Wild Draw Four, you can ONLY play the card if you DO NOT have any other cards to play.

Correction. You CAN play the Wild Draw Fours, but be prepared to be challenged if you do so out of spite. I got challenged when i drew that card, but was not accepted although i got a Wild card on my stack.

Oh ok.. let me rephrase that.. if I remember my rules properly.. as long as you don't have a card of the same COLOR.. I think So Wilds don't count.

Most times I joined a multiplayer game, the damn thing freeze and I either have to fall back to dashboard or restart the box. What's happening? You guys facing this problem? And the available games list is always not populated. Sucks lah, I paid 400 credits for the multiplayer features and it's not working properly now.
Any UNO masters out there? Any clue?
