I've read the guide but am still blur blur in a few areas. The beginner's guide isn't really a beginner's guide as it doesn't really explain things, it's more like beginner's resources. No offense meant, I really appreciate all the links and advice, but just like to point it out.

Some questions:
1) Is it a bad idea to keep all these apps up while playing MMOs like GW or WoW? I only have 512mb ram.

2) After I patched with UXTheme, then what? I have to find .msstyle files to use? Where do put them or get them?

3) Which dock is recommended for those just starting out? Rk launcher looks like the free one.

4) Are StyleXP and visual style the same thing? I see references to both in a lot of threads yet have no idea which is what...

5) This theme: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22178030/ how do I install it? There are Styler Toolbar, StyleXP Toolbar, VisualStyle and icon directories... where do each go and what do I need to support them?

1) its ok, but the dock can be annoying and consume a lot of ram even in idle state, try to turn it off when you playing games, and samurize, avedesk and widget also, there's a script to automatically turn off the dock in the beginner's guide

2)find it at link in the beginner's guide and download it to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

3) y'z dock also ok, but rk launcher is better, got support for other's dock skin also

4) style xp is third party program, but you already have patched the uxtheme, so, no need for stylexp, unless you want to go for their extra features like icons and bootskin; which i don't really recommend

5) you need styler toolbar and icon packager
