aiming for seiko orange monster since last year but finally end up with orient ray raven..being my daily beater nowdays beside my seiko military..

Been looking at the ray raven as well.
How is it holding up so far. Heard bad reviews on the IP coat on the bracelet. Easily scratched and the coating come out easily. Would also like to know the coat on the watch case as well.

yurp..i'm also quite worried before the purchase as there are bad review about the coating but until now the bracelet and the case in good condition..no sign of scratches..

That's great to hear.
Mind telling me how much you got it for?
Checked the link Everdying showed and the price difference is more than 100SGD more than the normal Ray.

i got it for 560 by online purchase..i don't know it's a good deal or not but much cheaper from price offered by a few watch shop in JB..i think is a standard pricing by retailer as i'm also be offered orient ray at 460..so the different is RM100

is it okay to get the blue ray without local warranty?

if i buy online, the warranty is just 1 year limited, so i guess its not international, must return to them.

or i not need to worry because most prob will last 5 years or more?

one thing that bugged me about mako / ray, and why i eventually sold it and got skx009...is cos the day / date window of the mako / ray is huge.

Can't remember the price, bought mine few yrs back. Should be in the range of RM500 - 600 currently.

I was in Empire Subang Solar Time yesterday. I saw the Mako XL with white dial and green / orange bezel in the display rack.
