BEST GAEM EVER WOULD BUY AGAIN. A+++++++++ I wonder why the newer DoA stuffs aren't made for PS2. Buying an Xbox just to specifically play DoA isn't fun. :( Oh, and this just in, 1 million units of Xbox 360's have sold in Japan seconds after this announcement. |

Gameplay isn't much of an issue. DOAX2 is more of a party game, like Mario Party. The gameplay won't blow away anyone, but it's the simplicity of the mini games that'll really attract people to play this on Live or multiplayer.

In the world of business, anything can happen. Anyhoots, it's kinda tiring to hear developers saying that games are exclusive, and then jump ship. Case in point, Shinji Mikami and his "I'll cut off my head if RE4 appears on another console besides GC".
Saying that, I think Itagaki seems to have settled on the Xbox for a while. They are closely working with MS on a lot of stuff, they even handed Bungie their work on Spartan and the Halo stage that appeared on DOA4 to assist Bungie. Itagaki has always said that he goes for the platform that can cater to what he needs, and will never compromise on quality, which is why DOA3 was never ported to PS2, because it was never powerful enough to handle DOA3. Only 3 games will forever be exclusive: Mario, Zelda and Metroid - Nintendo |

Shinji Mikami was never exclusive to Xbox...I was referring to his claim that RE4 was gonna be GC exclusive
  I doubt Itagaki will move away from Xbox, at least for the DOA series. It seems that online play is a huge factor for DOA, considering his comment on Virtua Fighter "never going online". I think it'd be a shame if DOA moved to not-so-competent-online consoles. But can you really imagine Itagaki on PS3? I don't think he'd share the same console as the game that he really hates |
