Undetstand that for Bayan, developer absorb legal fees for S&P and loans and the stamping on S&P. Loan stamp duty and MOT is to be born by buyer.

Perhaps can consider to stay till retirement then sell the landed house and buy a condo with the surplus funds (sale proceeds less condo purchase) used for retirement. That's my thought / plan.

It will be great if there is a Chinese school there. Did the SA say which school relocated there? Based on the gov policy I don't think it allows a brand new Chinese school to be opened - the most can be done is to close the existing one and relocate it to the new address.
