QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 27 2013, 01:21 PM) Apalah... block blog but don't block lolyat? QUOTE Result Update For QE30/4/2013, Apollo's net profit dropped 23% q-o-q or 18% y-o-y to RM7 million while revenue was lower by 4% q-o-q or 3% y-o-y to RM55 million. Top-line & bottom-line dropped due to lower demand from both local and export markets as compared to the festive months in QE31/1/2013. The lower revenue and higher operating cost had resulted in a decrease in the current quarter’s profit. Valuation Apollo (closed at RM4.05 yesterday) is now trading at a PE of 10 times (based on last 4 quarters' EPS of 40 sen). For a consumer stock, Apollo's valuation is deemed undemanding. Technical Outlook Apollo is in a gradual uptrend which accelerated over the past 6 months. This sudden acceleration may taper off and the stock may move in a sideway manner for a while. It should however find good support at the psychological RM4.00 level. Conclusion Despite poorer financial performance, Apollo is still an attractive stock with positive technical outlook. As such,, Apollo remained a good stock for a long-term investment. |

I rather wait la. my POV and you have all the rights to object till I pengsan. You know i don't see chart 1 right... PE 10x .. - ok lar Cash on hand about 70 cents/share - good Dividend .. emm expect 20-25 cents = 5-5.5% - fair lah ROE ~ 10%-15% - fair lah FCF = about 40-45 cents/year... so it is sustainable - good Growth = more or less flat = no good Margin = ~15% ok lar Not a high earning stock.. merely like FD stock... |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 27 2013, 02:08 PM) Alamak! I also thought you akauntan must calculate this every day 1? Actual FCF = EBIT(1-Tax Rate) + Depreciation & Amortization - Change in Net Working Capital - Capital Expenditure Shortcut FCF = Net cash from operation - purchase of PPE But my style i exclude changes in working capital as it distort the FCF too much... One thing about Apollo is the super kiamsiap management...
In the Q report... QUOTE The company has elected for the irrevocable option to disregard the section 108 balance Like this also can.... Rather lose tax credits than pay up lotsa dividends. |

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Jun 27 2013, 03:15 PM) I've been paying in advance since I grad. I think it is standard process and I found it is a good way to do so, to prevent people from feeling heartache when want to part with the money during income tax time. Ask me to submit payment every month so susah... so in the end i paid up all 12 months 2013 tax in 1 go. |
