QUOTE(echoesian @ Jul 26 2013, 12:04 PM) Is it really worth to spend so much for a S4, or we can satisfy with Google Nexus? Actually the a Nexus phone would be great but if you plan on getting a Nexus, I would suggest that you wait for the up coming Nexus 5.If get a S4, is it really worth to spend additional 300-400 to get the LTE version since our LTE coverage is in the infancy stage now and it's not stable yet... Yes I agree there is no benefit in getting the LTE version over the 3g version right now.. but actually if you are a person who likes to root and use different custom roms, the LTE version would give you that option unlike the OCTA core. The choice is still yours |

Going to install Arrow ROM 4.0 on my i9500. Might use perseuse kernel. For those who are using this kernal, is there any other benefit apart from OC/UC?

The simple fact is this.. if you have battery issues, root your phone and use a custom rom that removes alot of bloatware. It should help during the standby time. I am using crash 5.1 on my i9500.
2, you could also install a custom kernal like Perseuse and UV, slowly yet surely you will gain more battery life. It just takes a long time to find the best settings for your phone 3. You could just not use 3g/2g when you are at the office etc.. that might help, maybe. |
